  1. awesome, thanks! I submitted a request.
  2. Yeah, I've opened mine up so that I can drill holes in the case, and there's a heat spreading gel in there. no heat sink though..
  3. Yeah true. If I get a design that works I'll post it here. It'd probably be in a month or two though. :)
  4. That is a good thing to do, and I totally recommend it. Unfortunately, my bb was not near the heat vent. I probably should be using the extender though.
  5. hmm, probably. Mine was plugged directly in to the port on the laptop. That suggests that the heat that's melting the bb is coming from the computer.
  6. Arming. I'm starting to wonder if it was heat coming from the laptop... I mean, I seem to be the only one who's case has actually melted.
  7. huh.. that's nice. my case started warping, and the bb had shut off. I'm glad it's not happening to the vast majority of you guys!
  8. Hey all, In the interest of my bash bunny not overheating again, I'm looking to print a new case for it. Does anybody have any cad models of an alternate case for the bb? If not, a cad model of the bare bone bb (no case)? If nobody has one, then I'm planning on either: drilling holes in the case Having my uncle (who designs these things for a living) design a new case that allows airflow. Thanks!
  9. Alight, it looks like it still works, but still.. this has a serious heat management issue. I'm starting to wish there were small vents cut in at obscure places.
  10. Just a warning to all out there.. Don't leave your bb plugged in for too long. I left mine plugged into my laptop, and when I got back from lunch my bash bunny had shut off and the case has bubbled/warped in a spot, giving off a burnt plastic scent. The metal for the usb port would've burned me had I continued touching it. I'll report if it still works when I plug it in a few hours after it's cooled down...
  11. Hey all, I recently tried out the nmapper payload by Hak5Darren. It worked great, but when I tried changing the nmapper options to "-A -sV --osscan-guess", my bash bunny refused to run the payload. It flashed green once and then stayed off. Thinking it was weird, I went back to arming mode and plugged it in. It went through the normal boot sequence and flashed blue like normal, except now it won't mount as mass storage or serial. I got slightly worried, did the firmware recovery, and still no change. Does anybody have an idea as to what's going on here? I REALLY don't want my bb to be bricked because I can't mount it as anything. Any/all help appreciated! Thanks [UPDATE] Turns out you can't be running a vm.. for some reason having a vm running kept the bb from mounting to either computer.
  12. awesome, thanks!
  13. mkv - meaning the earlier generations of the wifi pineapple?
  14. awesome, thank you so much!
  15. OS X, Windows, or linux. whichever works best. I'm stronger with windows & linux, but I'm getting into osx.
  16. Hey all, I just ordered my Wifipineapple nano a few days ago, and it will be getting here soon. I've read through some of the documentation, but I was wondering if there were any tips or suggestions people had in regards to what you should do with it when you first get it. So, any suggestions? Thanks!
  17. yeahh, my bad. Sorry about that, My computer auto extracted the files after I downloaded them so I totally forgot to just throw the entire compressed file on my bash bunny. Thanks for the help!
  18. I want to see this happen so badly! If anyone is working on this and wants some help, let me know and I'll see what I can do!
  19. yes it should look something like this: # HID STAGE # Runs minimized powershell waiting for Bash Bunny to appear as 172.16.64.1. LED R G B ATTACKMODE HID Q SET_LANGUAGE US and: # Bypass UAC :: Change "ALT j" according to your language i.e. for us it is ALT o Q DELAY 1000 Q ALT y Q DELAY 500 Q ENTER
  20. are you in the US? if so, change the keyboard language to US, and the bypass uac letter to "y"
  21. ahh, in that case, my bad! But thank you for taking the time to help me out with it!

    Hackmud

Does anyone here enjoy Hackmud? It's a Massive multiplayer puzzle and social engineering based game that's been around for a while. You start off in a tutorial/story mode where you learn your way around, and when you finish that you break out to the massive multiplayer mode. The cool thing with this game is that you can write legit scripts run and run them in game to automate processes. Another cool thing is that the dev actually allows some legit hacking of the game (with restrictions of course) in order to give yourself the upper hand (you should probably check the rules before you do any legit hacking though). http://store.steampowered.com/app/469920/
