  1. Hello, I actually had a similar problem, but in my case, I wanted to use a specific DNS server. I solved this by modifying the /etc/dnsmasq.conf and adding the line "server= [DNS Server]" I found this by reading up on OpenWrt, more specifically, Here Good Luck, I hope this helps! Here is my previous post OpenWrt Documentation: https://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/dhcp.dnsmasq
  2. So I was reading around and I read that you should use a powered USB hub for the Wifi Pineapple. However, the post I found was in 2012 so I am unsure if this is still needed. I would like to know if I should get a powered USB Hub, or if it even matters with the Wifi Pineapple Nano. If I should, would the item from Amazon okay? Link to 2012 Post: https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/27549-usb-hub-powered-by-wifi-pineapple/ Link to product: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0192LPK5M/ref=psdc_281413_t2_B00DQFGH80
  3. Not sure how to make this thread as solved... Sorry
  4. I have a Wifi Pineapple Nano, but I have managed to find the solution by looking through the OpenWrt Wiki and configuring the /etc/dnsmasq.conf Thank you for your help though!
  5. Hi, I am in need of help when it comes to specifying the DNS the Pineapple should use. I did the above multiple times, as mentioned by other users, but at every reboot, the resolv.conf seems to revert back its default state. Any ideas as to why or how to fix it?
  6. Thanks for the help, but that didn't work. I have tried modifying the /etc/config/network and when I reconnect a device to the pineapple, the device does not receive the new DNS server. I have restarted the pineapple and reconnected to the pineapple and still nothing. I've tried with multiple devices, no luck. Any other suggestions...
  7. Hello, please excuse my noobishery, but I have been searching around on how to set the DNS server a client is provided when they connect to the Wifi Pineapple Nano. Any kind of help or redirect would be greatly appreciated.
