  1. OK. Fixed the problem. Had to edit the wp6a.sh script to change the gateway address there to my routers address. for some reason putting it in when running the script wasn't working Feel a lot less like a N00b now. Trying harder (though still a long way to go)
  2. in other news, I can get it online if I tether my phone to it with the android app (I think it shares the phone's wifi) and if it is connected to the computer at the same time I can access it. a bit cumbersome but it works until I come up with a better solution
  3. I have a problem with the Nano not getting internet connection. I have a triple boot laptop running Kali 2.0, Mint 18.1 and Windows 10(the horror!!.. but not bad for gaming) The problem is as follows Win 10 is supposed to be the easiest, it will simply not share the wifi connection so while I have internet available, the nano has no access to the internet for the purpose of bulletins and downloads. I have followed the Hak5 video tutorial 3 times with no change to the situation. Mint is a different story, Whenever I plug the Nano in the system immediately selects the Nano as the default internet connection and I lose internet altogether. If I turn the USB Ethernet off I regain internet access but lose connection to the Nano Kali is much like mint. I have followed the video tutorials on setup numerous times and scanned through the forums looking for an answer but, simply put I am lost at this point. Suggestions anyone? I just want it to work in ONE environment without losing more hair over it
  4. Thanks Teabot that script would be very handy. Turns out that the nano IS the new default gateway which isn't too useful. For some reason the wp6.sh hasn't helped.
  5. A weird situation I hope someone can help me with. Running Kali on my laptop, installed nano as per instructions on hak5 video "Wifi Pineapple Nano: Linux setup" and as soon as the nano is up I can no longer access internet via wifi. If I go to USB Ethernet and turn it off my Wifi starts working again. I can still access the Nano through Firefox but it has no access to modules or bulletins. When USB ethernet is on it still has no access to modules or bulletins. I did a firmware update on the unit through windows 10 originally but as I don't plan to try to use Win10 as a pen testing platform I have subsequently gone through the setup again with Kali and Linux Mint with the same result as above. Ideas anyone?
