I was going to buy a wifi pineapple nano or nano tactical and the book, I was wondering what are the differences between all the pineapple's (Nano Basic, Nano Tactical, Tactical Elite, Tertra basic and Tertra Tactical) which one of the five I should get?
How many devices can connect to the different pines (iphones, android, windows pc, linux, macs)?
Also is the pineapple book necessary?
the book is not necessary at all, i bought it expecting some tutorial, but its just a Instruction manual, "how to turn ON" etc etc. Basically describes the menu items.

Awesome , Thank you. Will buy it today and give it a try.
If you need something small, you can run kali in a raspberry pi, is small and way more cheaper.
I like the pineapple concept, but if you see the hak5 videos, they promote it like a impressive tool, but in real life, is not reliable for the price you pay, most of the time doesn't work.
About the support, take a look at the forum, see how many questions were answered, how much does it take to get an answer and you'll get an idea
I think the pineapple has potential and someday would be a great tool, but right now, is just an expensive paperweight.
So my advise is use a raspberry pi or those small old mini netbooks like this.- 2

Couldn't agree more, i saw at the forum many teenager trying to play with the nano at school after watching a MR Robot episode with unrealistic expectations.
