After some googling, I found that I wasn't the only one with this issue. My MKV was experiencing a solid red-green-blue light and the yellow was not turning on. I was unable to connect to the pineapple over ethernet. Windows gave the error message "Network cable unplugged", even though the cable was perfectly fine.
The solution was for me to stop being an idiot. I was using the cable designed to charge the MKV external battery pack. Since the barrel size was the same I figured it would work, but this was not the case. Simply swapping out the power cable fixed my problems.
