    Well if you leave your hostapd up and running at boot, you can be detected... Its sometime wise to go in silently, wlan0 can be use to listen in rather then reveal your presence. Not eveyone use the Tetra for MITM.

    Removing the interface(s) in ap mode in /etc/config/wireless seems to be the key.

    I am trying to bring up a Tetra device silently (without starting hostapd on wlan0 at boot). Removing the init.d script, changing the /etc/config/pineap to disabled, did not work. What's the proper way? Thanks
