  1. And thanks haze1434, some great articles on https://itfellover.com ! ;)
  2. For security reason, SSH isn't enabled by default. If you want to run this: # systemctl start ssh.service If you want to enable ssh at startup: # systemctl enable ssh.service If your want to enable "root" login: # sed -i 's/PermitRootLogin without-password/#PermitRootLogin without-password/' /etc/ssh/sshd_config # systemctl restart ssh.service
  3. I planned to pass CEH at the end of the year and OSCP next year, so I can give you some links I've bookmarked ! ;) https://localhost.exposed/category/path-to-oscp https://kaizensecurity.wordpress.com/2016/05/07/oscp-blog-post http://blog.knapsy.com/blog/2015/03/29/oscp-thoughts-and-tips https://itgeekchronicles.co.uk/category/security-challenges/oscp http://www.securitysift.com/offsec-pwb-oscp Good luck !
  4. Agree guys, we loose our privacy, look at this "How to configure Telemetry" on Technet (https://technet.microsoft.com/library/mt577208(v=vs.85).aspx) and calculate how many GPOs / tweaks we need to configure just for Windows 10 in a production environment. SANS released also a good paper about it here: https://www.sans.edu/media/Windows-10-OPSEC.pdf
  5. Hi Hak5 members, I'm a security enthusiast focused to help people and companies against threads, so I'm probably what you call a "white hat". I'm here for learning and sharing my little knowledge about ethical hacking with others. Favourite OS: Kali (big up to g0tmi1k, R. Hertzog and S. Brun for their amazing work), Nationality: Citizen of the World, Accent: Maybe loud, Race: Human (on the internet, nobody knows I'm a dog), Occupation: Security consultant / Red team pentester. See you later ! :)
