because of defcon I don't think a lot of people are around updating. possibly will pick up in a few weeks after they get some of that sweet sweet booth money.

did it run the hello world script the first time you plugged it in? AND Are you talking about like a secondary payload like having it execute a file stored on the flash drive and not just the stuff that happens on the screen like CMD or powershell? If so you need to flash it with the Twin duck firmware and then you can use the ducky payload to call to the *.exe payload. You can't have it load an .exe or Jar without flashing it I think.

the tutorials are out there for each of the tools on the device. Think of it as the Playstation Console, It has all the hardware you need but you gotta still master the games which is not guaranteed by the hardware developers. The tools work, little wonky cause the device is newer I guess all the infusions need to be recoded for each device. You can also log in SSH and add whatever tools you want to the pineapple like wifite. We all got issues, just work around or through them....isn't that what pen testing is all about? Giving up, meh too easy. maybe I fuxed up my tetra but I'm still thinking of buying a nano.

Dunno, but sometimes when I have the pineapple plugged into the outlet and one usb there is a clicking sound coming from the pineapple. But having them chained like that won't burn up anything(unless the battery explodes non pineapple related). It will work and probably really well.

that's what I was asking. eth1 is UP but It does not show up on any device anymore. I should get a network device on windows when I plug in a cable to change the configs there but I don't. ETH1 does not come up as a USB Ethernet port. It comes up as nothing, not detected BUT it powers up the device. I think ETH1 went down after I used wp6 for the first time. ETH1 is the port you need for initial setup and accessing the special page for flashing the device. I can't even use wp6 cause when it gets to the point where it asks to plug in your tetra, It cant detect the pineapple so it does not complete the wp6 setup. I can no longer do any of those things even after doing a default restore and I don't know where to even start at getting that port detected. I got it kinda working right now with an additional wireless usb dongle and by connection to the RJ45. So now I have constant access to the pineapple from my computer and it has internet from the RJ45 instead of the ETH1 USB Ethernet port.

I know you guys do this on your free time but some help would be appreciated. I can't for the life of me get my ETH1 port showing up. Without the ETH1 port, I can't update my restore to original or tether on the go using wp6 Tried on multiple computers with no luck on any computer detecting that a usb cable is plugged in. Is it possible I disabled the ETH1 port? It was working until I restarted the tetra the next day.

ok ran the setup again but ran the command line firmware update using -F and it took but ETH1 is still not working sadly.

flashed using SSH method, could not get the tetra_factory.bin to run, I could only get the update_1.0.2.bin to run. If anyone knows how I can run the tetra factory reset that should do the trick. I can get access to the tetra root and ssh but just couldnt find the commands on how to factory flash by command line. Help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Ports not showing up in windows or linux. SSH works when I am connected to the management wifi coming from the pineapple. Anything I can do with root access to the pineapple to re-flash? Since the ports don't work, I cannot access the flash page as I am connected through the wifi.

update, ports are still not showing up but noticed it does allow me to log into the wifi pineapples wifi network and establish a root password and wifi password for login. I can then enable the management wifi settings but still cannot seem to be able to get the ports to come back up.

Hi guys, hope I can get some community help on this one. Been searching and trying to get it figured out but no luck. Attempted a factory reset on my WP Tetra with no luck and then a Firmware reset but now my computer does not recognize any of the ports on the wifi pineapple. I cannot even load the special firmware reset page because I cannot access the pineapple. The serial port also gives me no access. Don't want to give up but I really have tried everything for a few days now before posting.
