It's been a long time since I've participated in anything Hak5 aside from buying the hardware and playing with it. However, I've decided to start playing games again and I was wondering if anyone out there is familiar with using a passive wireshark box (like an extra PC attached to a hub) to get in-game information (like locations of a mob or something).
I understand a lot of information will be encrypted for A-list games. However, with games still in development like Ark I believe a lot of information will likely still be un-encrypted. I plan on getting everything up and running at my house shortly and will keep this post up to date with where I'm at. However, if there is anyone out there with resources to help me/join in my endeavor then it would be greatly appreciated.
