Thanks for the link. I suppose the next logical step after generating a word list with Crunch is using a secondary program to convert it to a rainbow table for Ophcrack to read. Do you recommend a way for this?

Sorry to reopen an old topic as my debut here, but I feel this is probably the appropriate location for my question. I have forgotten the password to a laptop that is more than 14 characters. Ophcrack's default rainbow tables won't do the job. I know from memory the password contains words of fruits and possibly a few numbers, that is all. I also know I can remove the password and reset the admin account using another program but am now far past the point of reasonableness and too curious, because this password was not difficult to recall. What do you expert hackers recommend to crack it? Thanks
