  1. Yup on the first, second, no power where I live but a few miles away there's power and service. No water damage thanks to everything being in varying sizes of ziplock/trashbags saturated in desiccants.
  2. Found this on hackernews and thought some were interesting, especially #26. Could this possible fix the nano's SD card issue? I can mt tey it at the moment (dumb 'ol Irma) but someone should try it out. Good luck https://www.lopezferrando.com/30-interesting-shell-commands/
  3. Is the word Pineapple in this context an actual term used in BT trchnology stack or is Pineapple becomming synonymous with rogue AP and MiTM attacks?
  4. Not to threadjack but Is it possible to have a portable EMP device that was Protected from its own EMP pulse? eg. A shielded box/bag with an antenna poking up and out through the shielding. /unsure of anything EMP except bad news bears for the tinkerers
  5. https://gitartist.herokuapp.com/ I got the sultry Sansa. I'll take it.
  6. For any one having to deal with a chaotic natural event; people first, everything else second. Have a plan; Stick to the plan; Always deliver! Everything is temporary except this moment. Keep your wits about you and be safe my fellow entities.
  7. After the board's gui minor revamp herr and there, I see you can either like or upvote someone's post. what's the difference/purpose other than someone seeing that you appriciate their content?
  8. I ran across this site a few days ago, seems legit (not financially prompted to promote certain vpns) in it's reviews/information I didn't scrub the site down so I could be wrong.
  9. Not sure if useful. Is it? Found this on hackernews. I don't know enough but it sounds useful: http://hookify-cooking-programming.a3c1.starter-us-west-1.openshiftapps.com/
  10. Wouldn't this be a situation where as a sticky thread of tutorial chaos would be advantageous? Something that would rate and berate, all but moderate it's self. Letting you do you boo boo..
  11. What about a sticky thread that in the Everything Else subforum? That way people people could post their own and link to other relevant tutorials found elsewhere? It would be at the top of the busiest subforum and people could then search that thread alone for whatever it is they're looking. Similar to the thread I created last year as a resource for myself and others to revisit, sort of a bookmark thread if you will.

  13. You can also double encrypt on an iphone if one of the vpn's are openvpn and the other IPsec/IKEv2.
  14. For the win. Thank you. I posted a similar question in the nano forum. I doubt there's screws but I'll wait until someone replies. Thanka again!
  15. /copy and paste from tetra I want to open the case. Mainly to see the naked form factor. My heavy handed antics usually take over here & the end results are often broken parts. Deep breath. step back. ask the forum. Tips or tricks to opening the case?
  16. I want to open the outter case. Mainly to flip the locking washers but also see the naked form factor. I've slipped a plastic pry tool in along the seam on the back but the connectors along the corners seem well made. My heavy handed antics usually take over here & the end results are often broken parts. Deep breath. step back. ask the forum. Tips or tricks to opening the case?
  17. Things not to do while tor-ring: https://www.whonix.org/wiki/DoNot I use a nordvpn router through an openvpn router to double encapsulate the data. Also I use https://whoer.net and https://doileak.com to double check my footprint.
  18. 26 tagged projects at hackaday https://hackaday.io/projects?tag=Openwrt
  19. A little late for the 21st but in before the next one: how does the moon get a haircut? it gets an little eclipse
  20. It also helps knowing what your router allows you to do. ie. Stock netgear for the 3400 allows for a different setup than dd-wrt 3495 or Tamatousb by Shibby.
  21. IOS users: try out Endless. I'd like to hear other's thoughts instead of purely my own. I think it's fantastic. As fast if not faster than Focus and with some nice control. I wish It had the ability to disable/enable specific things like enable images and CSS but disable javascript. i do also use iblockify to turn off things within Safari. It seems to affect the core safari so when I use things like the reddit app or the like, my previously disabled things still stay disabled. Yay.
  22. You're a good sport. Check out https://frankiejarrett.com/2014/09/how-to-connect-apple-tv-to-a-hotel-wi-fi-network/ works the same but replace 'apple tv' with 'wlan2'-ish.

  24. We're experiencing a paradigm shift!!1
