I think the infusions file your talking about is actualy a directory not a file.

I'll send you a download link later today for those.

I've upgraded my nano to the latest version 1.1.3 and have no problems at all. Are you trying to run before you can walk? check you have upgraded to latest version of firmware. People will be more willing to help you with your issue if you remain calm.

just a thought but have you tried it on another OS? I know windows 10 is causing lots pf problems for people in other areas, may be that is the issue! regards kerravon

also if I plug the device into the pc with no ethernet cable attached I lose internet connectivity on the PC. Is this device faulty????

I have just got round to setting up my lanturtle I bought a month or so ago, I can login in great, but soon as I connect the ether net cable I get an errp message see graphic below. I have used tow window 7 machines and numerous ethernet cables it just will not connect I have even connected to ethernet port on my router and it doesnt work. the router is supplying dhcp addresses. anyone out there that can help is this a returns issue? I am supposed to being a security talk in to weeks which was going to feature this device. regards kerravon

I was reading a few weeks ago a post in which the user had modified the wp5.sh script to automatically start recon for wardriving. The poster thought that the modified wp5.sh would also work on the nano, I thought I had booked marked the post, but havent. Does nayone know the post I am looking for? cheers kerravon

Sounds like the uart is faulty and may need replacing, I would be extremley careful you do not cause any more damage.

Try this 1. ssh into your pineapple. 2. vi /etc/opkg.conf 3. change the src/gz src/gz pineapple_packages http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/mk5/packages dest root / dest ram /tmp lists_dir ext /var/opkg-lists option overlay_root /overlay dest usb /usb 4. opkg update

when the modules are installed, some will need dependency files, these are to do with the main package and the openwrt os. the modules are infact just a gui to programs such as aircrack_ng etc. this is normal behaviour, you can install them buy hand using the opkg install program. Hak5 have not abandend MKIV users at all, they have been of great help to me in collecting all the infusions so people like you and me can still install them and play with this amazing device. You have to appreciate there is a lot of development work going on at hak5 and this takes a lot of their time and time is money!! This I why I with the help of other members and Darren and Seb set up this little project and I will continue to support it indefinitely. regrds Kerravon

this process has worked for many people, I would suggest you reflash and start again, try installing 1 infusion at a time.

you need a sym link for each infusion

did you create a symlink for the infusions?

follow Sierra Juliet's version of my scripts copy the unarchived files to a formatted sd under the directory /infusions its pretty straight forward. we are looking into being able to install the tar.gz files using the pineapple bar. But we need to talk this option over with sebkinne as it is his baby.

on a large scale yes, this was just a couple of compaq servers.

My friend works with servers all the time, he had a simular problem a short while ago, we installed foam sheets around the inside of the rack casing making sure to leave approptiate space for ventalation. It worked really well and customer was happy with the solution.

if you look through the topic, there are two long scripts done by me to install infusions for the 2.8.1 and version 3.0 firmware make sure you use the right one. Any difficutly let me know and I could dial in and do it for you.
