  1. The new game's being previewed in an upcoming episode of PS2 magazine, set between episodes III and IV, just as Darthie baby is hunting down all of the remaining Jedi, it features Stormtroopers, and a new physics engine that lets enemies react realistically to your uber-force powers (Get thrown through walls, cling to the side of cliffs/boulders), and one visual that is quite cool is a lone jedi destroying an Imperial Star Destroyer using the force.
  2. Dude, when did they say it was cool? All I can recall is a lot of "Script Kiddie" being hurled around at the mere mention of Metasploit, and Nmap... but then again, I have been ver' ver' drunk between then and now..

Heh, Crash Test Dummies being decapitated makes me laugh.
  4. Nonono, that really, really old game, where you play like.. a dude on a camel... It might not've been called Joust..
  5. Streetfighter II, Turbo Edition on the SNES. Hands down winner of the "game to play when you need to pwn someone" ... Or Joust. ... Actually... I challenge anyone here to a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.
  6. Umm... okay, cool, but you've not really stated any problem for us to help you with... I assume something's going wrong, or else you wouldn't've asked for help, but without more information, not much can be said dude...
  7. Yeah, I'll freely admit, I've never, /ever/ looked into programming before, but after reading the hetland link, I'm looking into python as an introduction into programming. Pretty cool stuff..
  8. That could work! The DHOA server ;)
  9. I must admit, that whilst it's not the most popular choice out there, my Vaio's never steered me wrong. .. . Well, apart from when trying to play Oblivion.
  10. What... the Hell.. did you break?
  11. Technically the bones in a human baby are more supple, and resistant to breaking than the bones in a full grown adult, which is why babies can constantly fall over without damaging themselves. Not that this has anything to do with some dumb asshole sticking a baby in a tumble dryer... He should know that they're only for cats.
  12. Yeah, wearing an ESD wristband could help when building.. as well as an ESD mat. 'cause there's nothing worse than being £30 out of pocket because of static electricity... bloody sisters wanting to install bloody videocards in their bloody computers.
  13. I kinda got... overloaded at work for a few months, leaving me trailing in my interest in technolust. However, I'm gonna be going back to college for a year to get a couple of IT qualifications for a possible Uni Programming course, and after listening to Sploitcast again, I've been feeling the need to get back in the scene.
  14. And just to let y'all know, I'm back. Annnd I love House. Edit - and I forgot that the forums don't do html..
  15. What goes from Blue to Red at the flick of the switch? Duelus in a Blender.
  16. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamen
  17. Umm... because it can prove very handy in sniffing up packets from other computers, eventually allowing you access to other networks. Side note: NWH, what're ya trying to do with your signature, 'cause for starters, that html is wrong, it's "a href", not "href a", and y'all forgot the other ", plus it appears to be a picture, and not actually a link, so the html would be <img src="blehblehbleh"> except on this forum, BBCode is used, so it'd be "["img"]"http://blehblehbleh.bleh"["/img"]" without the quotation marks.
  18. Amen to that, I don't think there's a geek amongst us who's not pulled an allnighter after getting started on a project when inspiration hit late at night.
  19. See, whilst I'll probably get all three consoles eventually, there is one thing that sold me to Nintendo's latest venture. No, not the silly name, but the ability to download the backcatalog of Nintendo games. Castlevania, Bubble Bobble, and Street Fighter 2 anyone?
  20. FUN is in the eye of the Beholder (Or eyes, if you're a DnD fan) GRATIFICATION comes from numerous sources, even if it is knowing you have figured out how to send a mail bomb SKILL is required in everything for the uninitiated POINT is another subjective term. I know it's arduous (if someone cares to correct my spelling, I'll give you a cookie) to ignore things on these forums, yet if you find something so mindnumbingly inane that you have to comment, comment in non-subjective ways that can't be picked apart in mere sentances. I love reading everything on this forum, with the exception of a certain type of post regarding a certain very, very cool music site which provides information on services I will never use, nor intend to, not because the services provided are crappy, because they aren't, but because I have the time to waste finding the name of the band that just played, searching for the title of the album the song came from, and then BitTorrent-ing it ftw.
  21. ... Promise? Unless you're talking Ballz, in which case, hand me caffine, ask a question and let's get started you down the long and perilous road to IT knowledgedom. Remember, the more you learn about this crap, the more you realise there are thousands of things you don't know.
  22. .. The Technolust is strong with this one :D Nice setup D
  23. If you can give us the ability to "mark sub-forum read", hell yeah.
  24. Hey Darren, when do I get my title of Forum Grandma? ;) Anyways, I've noticed a hugge! Huge flaw with this News thingy. Unmoderated! No Muuuuuu or Wladamir to kill irritating threads, so there will be an unholy horde of Gru monsters let loose upon the forum.
  25. I don't get irritated by the forums often, and never take things too close to heart, but this is beginning to get a tad frustrating. Yes, I'm aware that Pandora rocks, and that these (questionable ethics) great programs that have been coded to get songs downloaded from said site show "Mad Skillz", but please... please, please, please can we condense all of this into one thread so that it's not a case of going to the Hacks section and seeing nothing but page after page of Pandora every single time you log on? Pretty please?
