1. This setup you have is awesome. I setup followed that for my rpi3 and worked great. but still stuck on the being able to disconnect from the pi and still keep kismet running and then be able to reconnect later to check on it or stop it. So my experience with screen is very little. I read through a couple pages about it and got the tl:dr. would this something I can do from my android phone with an app like juicessh? I installed it on my pi and use it on osx to connect to the bashbunny via serial. but thats about it.

Evil Portals

Im pretty sure these portals were created for the 6th gen platform pineapple and the module for that device. From what your saying, you are using the 5th gen pineapple. Which if your using the EP for that pineapple it might be work differently with that version of the module.
3. if your in the US, you could go straight talk. they offer 8gb data for $50 and 12 for $60, or the cheap $35 for 2gb. the sim card will cost you another couple bucks. @Foxtrot made a module for this. Idk if you have checked it out yet.
4. I had an OTG to usb A and used a mini dongle like the one for the nano. worked great and didnt need a separate power source. I also used a tp-link wn722n and didnt need an external battery to power that. I used a nexus 6p.
5. So if your running MacOS then its a bit harder to get ICS working with mac because they like to be difficult. The wp6.sh will not work with OSX, its a linux only type thing. You could make a Virtual machine to connect it with kali or another linux distro, or you could plug a wifi dongle in and connect that to your home router which is what I do now with my macbook. Its way easier than messing around with osx and ICS.
6. plug your pineapple in and let it start up. Then run the wp6.sh with the manual option. make sure you know your gateway ip, for example mine is 192.168.0.1 from my wifi router. then connect!!
7. you could use Evil Portal with DNSmasq spoof
8. connect to the AP you setup with your phone after the pineapple powers up. it might take a min or so. navigate to the 172.16.42.1:1471
9. the provide dongle is for a 3rd wlan radio to connect to another wifi like your home, so the pineapple has internet connection. with the battery pack you have two options. browse to the ip the router gives your pineapple with the wifi usb dongle, or make sure the Management AP is setup and connect to it with your phone or something, you can do the second without internet connection to the pineapple.
10. Not at all. Not even in the slightest. Sry but its been asked multiple times.
11. I was in the military for a number of years and never once thought about building my own AR till I saw this video last year. It dawned on me that I used one all the time, but why have I never built one from the ground up. After watching this I built my own. One of the best ways to really know how your firearm works.

HMMMM

they showed the LanTurtle 3g but if you look at the LanTurtle section there is no payload thread so from what we've seen so far the Packet Squirrel is a totally new device all together.

HMMMM

So the packet squirrel, just like the bash bunny has a payloads section. Im interested in where this is going.

Lan Turtle 3g?

That's what I was thinking. What is so special about this sim module on it and does it have to have a sim to work or will it work like a standard lan turtle without one

Lan Turtle 3g?

Hmmm. It was listed at Defcon for $180.

Lan Turtle 3g?

LAN Turtle 3G Setup Welcome DEF CON hacker :) You're the first to get your hands on the new LAN Turtle 3G. We're officially launching in August, but everything is ready to go now. Essentially setup is the exact same as with the regular LAN Turtle - so all instructions from the wiki and the video tutorials apply. The distinction is that you'll need to insert a Micro SIM card. That's the SIM that's 12 x 15mm -- the one in between the larger Standard size and the smaller Nano size. Typically SIM cards come with the snap-out adapters. To install the SIM card, open the LAN Turtle 3G carefully. Remove the two screws on the bottom of the unit and with care separate the top and bottom plastics. There is an antenna attached to the top plastic part, so just be gentle as you separate them. The SIM card slots in on the side of the 3G module with its metal contacts facing the PCB in a top facing orientation. Then re-assemble the LAN Turtle 3G. Stickers are provided for stealth. On the software side you'll find the 3G WAN options from the main configuration menu. Typically it's just a matter of setting the APN. The module will maintain the connection, so there's no other configuration necessary. @Just_a_User @Dave-ee Jones Found this on Hak5 github.
17. From what hak5 has said, even if a newer device is going to come out in 6 months, they wont tell you that because of the release. As of now the nano and tetra are the best on the block and they are awesome. New firmware will come out and thats just a simple update.
18. you need to plug in the wall adapter or power it via usb with an output of 18-24watts. A single usb connection will not power it correctly which is the problem you are dealing with.

Lan Turtle 3g?

are you guys at defcon? and Yes I saw the Packet Squirrel but on the picture I saw that listed devices and prices, there was a lan turtle 3g which could be the same as the Packet Squirrel. @Just_a_User that is an interesting picture. The only device I dont have is a lan turtle so maybe it was good to wait.
22. Saw it on a picture of the hak5 vendor list for defcon. Does anybody else know about this?
23. no the tetra and nano are openwrt based devices, while the bashbunny is a debian based OS. So bettercap is possible with the bashbunny but not the pineapples.
24. I got the 5.11 Rush 12 and it is very comfortable bag and a bit bigger. Not as many little compartments in the main compartment but still very useful. I own the Moab 10 also. I use both, just depends on what i'm doing. Both bags are pricey but well worth the money.
25. i plug mine into my router and login via ssh or the webui through whatever ip my router gives the tetra. Easier than moving it around.
