  1. I know I'm reaching here but is there such a thing? Imagine a cat5e/6 cable connected to a POE Ethernet to USB adapter that not only connects the nano to the internet/network but powers the device. One can only dream. Everything I see just supplies ethernet to usb power but no data. Please.... someone prove me wrong!
  2. You can calibrate each AP but it's not foolproof. As for location, I would recommend towards the edge of rooms and mounted on the ceiling while maintaining proper signal propagation. At hospitals, wireless access points are used for locating wireless devices integrated in equipment. If you place an AP closer to the room anything outside the access point triangle will be difficult to locate. Be mindful of channels and tx pwr.
  3. I love the idea. As a new user to the pineapple and linux CLI I have been forcing myself to learn as much as I can by using shell. So far, I have managed to place wlan0, wlan1 in monitor mode stop it and kill interfering processes. I've learned to use airodump-ng as well. Including some of the options to monitor channels essids and bssids. Not to mention actually creating a file output. And right now I'm working on aircrack-ng. I have learned the basic options for wep/wpa2 cracking. All this in the past 1-2 weeks of having the pineapple. So I'm all for a learning module but only because I need to know how it works not just that it works if that makes any sense. If I knew how to code in AngularJS, or any other relevant language, I'd be all over it. Either way, I'd love to give constructive feedback if it's the only contribution I can add. Good luck!
  4. I noticed your wired setting for the gateway on your Linux machine is 172.16.42.1 While I'm still rather new at this, I'm thinking it should be 192.168.1.1. I'd give it a try at the very least. I do remember when I was setting up the Internet sharing on my Kali machine, I left the network settings as automatic. The only changes I made where done using the wp6.sh script. As for connecting to your pineapple's interface... Open up terminal and ssh into it. SSH root@172.16.42.1 It will prompt you to trust its certificates and then your wifi pineapples password. It should bring you to /root#
  5. I like that!. It would be nice if you could also have that for SSID Pool. Simply put, it would be nice if you could access your SSID pool and add or remove from filters from the drop down list like recon. But that's just me.
  6. something about reporting email config not saving... hmmm

  7. I have had that happen to me as well, but on 1.0.1 I have not noticed it on .2
  8. Well done! I'm loving it! I've learned so much in the few days I've been here. I do have a question/suggestion if anyone will care. I work mostly with dBm and I'm wondering if there is a way to show dBm in recon and other future modules? Is it possible to do it myself? Please keep up the good job!
