  1. You can have it invisible with it connected with something like this: https://greatscottgadgets.com/throwingstar/ You can get the Lan tap pro on the hakshop right now, they're sold out of the $10 one it looks like tho.
  2. Looks like people have put it on OpenWRT before, so you may be able to compile it from source but you have limited space on the turtle But you may be able to work something out.
  3. So far everything I've tested you mentioned works great! Keep up the amazing work!
  4. That is nice I was going to go with the heat shrink tubing for mine, but now I don't know...
  5. It shouldn't be too bad. I only had a formal class of Java I in school and I self-taught C# fairly easily. Most of the Object Oriented languages follow the same basics just a matter of learning the different words they use to do the same things. My favorite site for picking up on C# things quickly is http://www.dotnetperls.com/ They go pretty in depth on specific items so if you have something you want to know more about, that's a good place to search. Otherwise everything else I learned through codeproject examples/source and google searching. Your git looks good, I can see your "initial commit?" (don't worry that gets easier the more you use it). I'll try to check back in on it and see if I can offer any help. Without formal training myself I may be more harm than good but I can use it to get stuff done pretty well.
  6. Anyone seen this or have any thoughts on it? HTTPS Bicycle Attack: https://guidovranken.files.wordpress.com/2015/12/https-bicycle-attack.pdf Sounds good especially if you have some https data you've been wanting to decrypt laying around. Also seems like it's going to be up to webmasters to implement changes to prevent it and not something end users can do on their own to get around it being a problem.
  7. I think Seb mentioned in IRC that it's being worked on and should be available at a later date.
  8. I have a second LanTurtle i purchased and received around November 2015. I haven't used it at all yet, but seeing this thread I thought I'd try it out. My first LanTurtle worked out of the box without issues and has been deployed/operating as I need it to for a few months now. I started out first by factory resetting the turtle using latest bin available on lanturtle.com and uploading through the web interface, just so I could be sure it was on the same bin. I was able to go into the Module Manger-Directory and download/install all of the modules without an issue. Confirmed when I backed out of the module manager all the modules were listed and I tested out System Uptime just to be sure one was working. it's important to note, module manger is never going to be able to start or enable. There's no reason to as everything is done in the configure. Maybe there is something else going on, but I'm not sure where to have y'all check for errors or anything past just letting you know I have one that worked as of today on the latest firmware bin.
  9. Fallen Archangel did some nice tutorials on the forums here: https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/37108-using-the-pineapple-without-modules-or-infusions-part-one-ssh/ plus you can find a lot more on the forums for different things you can do at the command line and a lot of what applies to the mk5 will apply to the nano (at least at the command line point of view)
  10. yea after i posted i was like duh a router would be transmitting and receiving... i got the same bundle and it did only have the single connector female to male, i wasn't sure what i'd use it for either and was more interested in having a second yagi for my pines and the long range booster for other things
  11. I think the yagi is designed more to transmit a signal not so much to receive. It fits perfect on my pineapples connectors and on another router i have. The other devices are more designed to receive signal i think, but getting that female adapter would probably work fine.
  12. You want an earlier model? I have a mk5 w/ battery pack, I don't know if I'd be able to let mine go just yet though. They were going on ebay for $200-400 I think, last I heard or checked. If you are talking about the latest revision, that's a developers edition and w/ the battery pack Hak5 is selling them on their store right now for $150 plus shipping. You can find the link if you search the forums here. "View New Content" would be the best place to start.
  13. I bet "USB Y-Cable" listed in the includes is an OTG cable (or at least has a microUSB plug on one end) The "Morale patch" is the pineapple patch you see on the case, I got one with the tactical edc bag but it looks smaller in the nano picture than that one i got The plug on the batter is probably an angled usb adapter so you can plug it into the pineapple while they're both in the edc case
  14. Yes: http://wiki.wifipineapple.com/#!reset.md
  15. Interesting idea, I don't think you would even need a module for it. You can just use the console and set that up same ssh tunnel. You may be able to edit the autossh connection for that or create your own module for it. I don't think there is a specific module that would meet those requirements besides the autossh connection and I'm not sure what is involved in editing it to add the port forwarding portion or if the attached device would have access to that tunnel (now that i think more on it). But basically the lan turtle is a embedded linux console with two network ports bridged so I'm sure you could configure things to work as you expected it. I haven't tried or tested it, but I'd be interested to know what you found out or if anyone has more specific ideas they can contribute.
  16. LOL I don't even know what kmods are. I just searched the forums and found those answers about it. If you post to that topic Seb will get an alert I think and he may be able to provide you with more information on what is needed from there.
  17. Is that one possibly drawing more power because of the additional ac support? May need a powered usb hub to support it if so, that'd be the first place i would start probably. I think they mention the usb powered hub here on this thread https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/33804-alfa-awus036ac/?hl=awus036acbut Seb said something about getting kmods on this thread
  18. that's startup folder stuff startmenu stuff is where it has always been since vista: for user specific: C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs for all users: C:\Users\bored\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
  19. You'll set it up with the Windows Internet Connection sharing. There's a guide on that process at the Pineapple University here: http://wiki.wifipineapple.com/#!pineapple_university.md#Windows_Internet_Connection_Sharing
  20. probably want to look into the twin duck firmware, here is a guide to flashing firmwares: https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/28254-tutorial-re-flashingupgrading-the-ducky-winxp-32bit/?hl=%2Btwin+%2Bduck#entry224339
  21. I like the fact that it's purpose built hardware. So I don't have to search or hunt for the best thing in a laptop or usb device to get stuff done. Sure they can't tell you all the stuff you can do, but those "hints" you mentioned they give, def give you a good place to start your searches for more information on. With the right amount of time and patience you have some very powerful devices that can do a lot more than just what is advertised or promoted by the seller. I'm not a fan of building things so I'm glad they give me the option to buy the hardware pre-built so I can focus on the more advanced learning curve of actually using it for various purposes. Plus there's no way I would have made something as sexy as the pineapple is (compact and well laid out, plus with an embedded OS that meets most of the needs out of the box). I also buy things from them, just to support them. This way they can keep making shows and come up with new purpose built hardware as well as improve on their current stuff. I was only introduced to them a few months ago when someone gave me a pineapple for free. I like it so much I went and got their field kit (just for the cable usb cable for the pineapple power and to support them) and liked the other stuff in that so much, that I've bought and plan to buy more items from them. I've also gone back and been watching all their shows and the great amount of content in them is amazing, things that I was working with and playing with back when they were talking about them to even new things I hadn't heard of yet that still have their uses even today several years later. I know I probably sound like a fan boy and I'm actually fine with that because I am a fan, but I do realize that these items aren't for everyone and some people may see these tools as one click attack tools (which as a programmer I can tell you it's hard to give customization and power with just the click of a button). So if you like the stuff and you want it, you can get it. Just be prepared to learn a lot on your own, if not then you don't have to and are free to do other things with your time and money :)
  22. Are you using an SD card reader to read the MicroSD that's in the ducky? You can't use the ducky itself, you have to pull the microSD out, use a reader, and then you can update the payload.
  23. Looked like a new box, more elongated (to be rectangular) with antenna on opposing ends on either side. Most importantly tho it looks exciting!
  24. I think I'd prefer to stay in control of my computer... But if you want to get that setup with another computer that you have permission to do such a thing to (you won't get help performing illegal activities here), your best place to "start" is the Wiki for the rubber ducky here: http://usbrubberducky.com/#!resources.mdI think in the Duck Toolkit there are some things to enable remote desktop (haven't tried them myself). But I think the Lan Turtle would be more appropriate for this type of situation (the legal one that is). You can check out what it can do on it's wiki here: http://lanturtle.com/wiki/#!index.md
