  1. I'm fine with newbies, they're great, I love it when people want to learn and even more so if I have something I can teach them. However, it's the ones with bad grammar who've probably been turned away from just about every other forum *ever* because they're either asking for a tool to/info on how to hack their friend's/boss'/dog's/brother's computer just to be a pain in the ass or for 'revenge' using language most kids who seem to SMS for a living wouldn't even understand. That and the people who've apparently never heard of a search engine. Sure, it's probably more mature to tell them the answer that to say "fucking google it, noob" but to be honest if they tried to help themselves a little more then they wouldn't get that response. Again, I'm happy to help but only if the person is unwilling to help themselvese then it's pretty pointless trying to teach them anything. People become hostile towards people like this because it gets very, very tedious to keep saying "that's not what hacking's about/don't fuck with school computers/don't be a dick with people's CD trays/stop being such a dimwitted fool" several times a week.
  2. I bet if you were to google you'd find them. *cough* (not a jab at you for not searching but seek and thou shalt find)
  3. Unfortunately it's shareware but look out for CPUIdle Extreme, it's a software cooling app, providing the CPU's not perminantly at high load it does very well, generally knocking ~10'C off my AMD AthlonXP 2100+ during general Windows stuff keeping it just a little higher than the boot temperature. It also helps cool the CPU a lot quicker after you finish doing something that uses the CPU heavily. It works by sending some kind of instruction to the CPU to do nothing during it's unused cycles, works on most (if not all) x86 CPUs. Not sure about 64-bit but it's worth looking it up. I've used it a lot on my systems, I've used SpeedFan to watch the temps, you see a big drop on the temp graphs while it's running. When you finish something that taxes the CPU you can watch the temp graphs plummet. Totally worth getting.
  4. Ok. First of all stop asking questions that Google will tell you within 15 seconds at the longest. Actually, that's the main thing. Sure, ask questions, but check Google and other sources first, don't expect us to tell you everything.
  5. Can I hit him? Please? *Please?*
  6. Check video drivers, check graphics card is seated well, check temps, check RAM's well seated, cry.
  7. The answer to the actual question is that it doesn't matter which way round the wires go, there is no ground/hot or -/+ on those switches. I think for LEDs white = negative/ground and colour = positive/power.
  8. Sure their is, that 3D printers are coming down in price and that soon we will all be able to print our own appliances. :D

  14. Doesn't that mean you could warez solid objects? It'll truely become useful when you can print food... which... I guess is almost possible, you'd just need the food in the machine in the first place for it to assemble it.
