  1. Can we get a Cooper in here? Lockage!
  2. I used WinXP SP0 for some time and I was fine... ...Gotta at least put the firewall on though.
  3. Digestive biscuits with mayonnaise on. No, really. Sometimes with cheese squares too... You know, those plasticky ones they use in burgers?
  4. Dude! I used to love that show! *cough*
  5. wAffles, damn you! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woffles http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waffles

Oooh melodic - new avatar! I like it!
  8. No, not fair enough, fuckwit... you've been getting progressively more arrogant towards members of this community and I alone have heard many people express a dislike to your attitude. Tone it down a little or take a time out.
  9. *inhales deeply* NeedanotherfixquickerthanIcandownloaditbecauseI'm sufferingwithdrawalandIneedtoseemoreHak5andI'm runningoutofbreathnowandgoingtopassout... *thunk*
  10. *rocks gently in the corner chewing his Hak.5 DVD* Must... Need... More... Hak... Gotta... Hak... Need... Five... Point... Gah...
  11. Sounds like a fun project... I've been looking for a good way to do this on Windows and I figured that something that looks and works like a multi-movie DVD menu... I could throw something together program-wise but I'll probably take a while in doing that... for all us Windows folk I'll post any updates if I get round to writing an app 'cos I like being able to be lazy when watching shows :)
  12. Windows is by MS. Internet Explorer is by MS and is part of Windows itself. It makes little difference to most users *how* it updates, just as long as it does. MS should not have to support updating their products via someone elses because it's MS property and they deal almost exclusively with it.
  13. So you mean like the relationship between groups of humans then?
  14. Thanks for your input, welcome to the forums.
  15. Well, stingwray makes the very good point that you'd regret going more than not... if they decide to fatten you up and feast on you how the hell you gonna run? Though on saying that, you would be wondering for the rest of your life what you might've seen and every bad moment that you encounter you'd regret not going... As for the fact we're screwed anyways, well I think I'll stay here and be screwed rather than be sliced open by uber-high-powered lasers dissecting my insides... Well, we've no idea what a real foreign intelligent lifeform might look, act, sound like let alone what they might/might not do...
  16. Exactly, but no-one told me that... I learnt the hard way :( "Windows 3.1? Windows 3.1 ma'am? 3 bob a copy... Windows 3.1?"
  17. No problem. I will say though, to give the other side of the argument that the objective here could be seen as suspicious as many of us know... however this is no reason to attack someone with a barrage of "I know all, you're trying to crack open a warez archive"... To end though, I will remind you all that winners don't do warez!
  18. Now, there may be reasons to believe that this could be an illigitimate question but then you might say that about a lot of questions here... I don't see any reason to jump at this guy and think that unless he's blatantly asking for warez just a simple answer or comment would suffice. In short, Sparda - stop being so paranoid. (Edit: and your logic is flawed - another thread perhaps ;)) angelictorment - I once had this problem (with a legitimate RAR, I'd compressed some personal letters and images I wanted to keep somewhere other than my HDD) and was unable to find a tool that managed to crack my password... I actually found the password written down in the end but I had no luck trying to brute force it or dictionary attack it... Still good luck and I hope all will be well...
  19. Erm... I'd venture to state that generally people don't tend to change avatars often and if they do it's on a whim rather than by suggestion ;)
  20. Under my desk are (pictures to follow shortly): An Epson Stylus Photo 1200 A3-size printer, HP Deskjet 350 laptop printer, 3 HDDs of unknown age (possibly prehistoric), 2-speed CDROM w/drive cage, USB WiFi stick, CPU cooler packaging, the insides of an A/V mixer, microphone case, 2 laptop floppy drives, some cables, some CDs (the only visible one atm is MS Codename Neptune), Feb 2002 issue of Computer Shopper and finally a large dictionary from the 1940s.
  21. I believe browsers have problems with very large files so a download manager or torrent are the only possible ways to get the DVD.
