Just purchased the WP Mark V last weekend and fired it up yesterday for the first time. I was simply looking for a device that I would be able to use on a Windows machine in order to capture traffic in monitor mode using Wireshark. I know I could have purchased one of the alfa adapters to do this, but everyone at the booth recommended the pineapple. I've been searching for instructions to set this device up so that is will simply capture wireless traffic using wireshark and I haven't found anything yet. I see I can perform MITM attacks in addition to a lot of other infusions but what I'm trying to accomplish is just capturing plain text as it sent via HTTP.
What am I missing?
