  1. I got this fixed. Apparrently I did not have the specific kernel installed. Here is what I did: Flash back to stock Root & set up TWRP Download the NetHunter Nightly Install specific to your model/version and kernel for your model/version from this page here Transfer the two downloaded zips to the phone Boot into TWRP and install each. (I don't think the order matters, BUT I installed the Nethunter .zip THEN the Kernel.
  2. Did not work. Couldn't find the package, Another issue, for some reason, now my lsusb doesn't show anything when I enter it.
  3. Update: Got a new OTG Cable, as well as an OTG-Y Cable, they both see and recognize the usb with lsusb but still not with airmon-ng, wifite, etc. So anyone have any other suggestions to try?
  4. That was my next step. Sadly i'm not aware of any local shops around me that sell any. We don't have many shops. I'll order one online soon enough. Just wasn't sure if anyone knew if this was an issue or if I was doing something wrong.
  5. I don't think it's the TP-Link adapter. I think it's micro usb to Female USB Adapter that falls short but i'm not sure
  6. Try to read my entire post first. :)
  7. So, I have the Nexus 5 phone, Nethunter fully installed, etc. My OTG cable stopped working but I have something similar to this adapter here. The adapter works but I don't think it works that effectively. On the Nethunter Terminal, I choose kali, and run 'lsusb' I see my adatper. I have the TP-Link TL-WN722N adapter and the ALFA AWUS036NEH adapter, which both work for this according to the Wiki. When I run wifite or airmon or anything that involes them, they do not see the adapter. Maybe I am doing something wrong in the setup process here but I feel like I have it right. Could it be my MicroUSB to USB Adapter that's causing the issue and should get another USB OTG or USB OTG Y cable? Update: Got a new OTG Cable, as well as an OTG-Y Cable, they both see and recognize the usb with lsusb but still not with airmon-ng, wifite, etc. root@kali:~# lsusb libudev: udev_has_devtmpfs: name_to_handle_at on /dev: Function not implemented Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub Bus 001 Device 002: ID 148f:3070 Ralink Technology, Corp. Hak5 Shop Books

I would assume it is for now. I too myself prefer the Ebooks since it's easier on my eyes but I also get it since it does prevent sharing it and, they do need make money to keep producing the awesome tools they make. I did order the books either way.
  9. I was probably going to install Netrunner on it.
  10. Yeah that much I found out. Found a pretty nice one on ebay for less than $100 that I might grab since it has pretty good hardware and spec.
  11. That was what I guessed since that's the only real reason i've seen anyone give.
  12. So, I see over various subreddits and other forums that when someone is looking for a good/decent "Hacking" laptop some people suggest the Thinkpads(More Specifically Thinkpad T420/T430). Now I can semi see why, they are cheaper with decent/good specs/hardware, etc. Now I want to know if this is a REAL suggestion or just some troll answer. If it's real, I want to know why(Other than what I said above) since they never really give a reason why they suggest that, which is why I think it might be a troll answer.
  13. Works for me now! Thanks. Looks great, ever since I got my pineapple and found this theme i've used it and loved it.
  14. This is how mine looks when using Firefox. Stills looks nice. Just having broken icon there. xD
  15. Makes it fun to kinda move around while doing and type to the beat of the music in some cases. xD
  16. I like to go for Techno, Electronica, and some Trance. Something usually upbeat to keep me kinda moving.
  17. I personally have this one from tha Hak5 Shop as well as the TP-Link TL-WN722N and They both work weel enough for me. I don't get anything SUPER far away but I don't have issues with getting a decent connection, staying connected, or not being able to see networks I should. Occassionally i'll use the old "Wifi Dongle in a Pringles can" thing and that has helped but I don't need to do that very often. xD

    Hak5 Shop Books

That makes sense and I understand that, just wasn't sure.
  19. So I'm debating of getting the Hak5 Books from the shop for some extra info and to add to my collection of other books, but i'm wondering if they have a EBook/PDF/Whatever version so I can keep a copy on my PC or Tablet as well. Does anyone know?

    GParted Help

So, long story short, my windows 10 updated last night and kinda messed up my Kali bootloader, no big deal since I started to use Kali in a VM recently. So I went to erase the partitions for Kali but now my partitions look like this. So does anyone know which paritions I NEED for Windows 10? I know I need the sda4, and i'm prety sure I need sda1 and sda3, but no idea about sda5 and sda2. I think sda2 is the Grub bootloader, and I feel like sda5 was added with the windows update since that wasn't there before. If I need sda5, how do I manage to move it BEFORE sda4 so I can extend sda4 with the unallocated space? Scratch that, I figured it out. :)

    Connections issues

Dunno if this is just me but when I try and connect I get this: * Looking up irc.hak5.org * Connecting to irc.hak5.org (2001:19f0:300:610e::65:6697) * * Certification info: * Subject: * CN=irc.drk.sc * Issuer: * C=US * O=Let's Encrypt * CN=Let's Encrypt Authority X3 * Public key algorithm: rsaEncryption (4096 bits) * Sign algorithm sha256WithRSAEncryption * Valid since Jul 20 08:01:00 2017 GM to Oct 18 08:01:00 2017 GM * * Cipher info: * Version: TLSv1.2, cipher ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384 (256 bits) * Connection failed (certificate has expired.? (10)) Tried asking in the freenode IRC but that one seems kinda dead. :X
  23. So i've ran into a minor snag with messing with my Pineapple theme that maybe someone can help me with. I can't get my "Clients connetec" and "SSIDs in pool" section to show with a text color. I tried having a device connected and refreshed it, still nothing. I can't really find where to change that at either after looking through the index.html and the css file.
