  1. @barry99705 I have the same experience, that why i find it strange that my devices don't connect auto to the MKV.
  2. Ok, Because my phone normally connect to work, home, friend ect.ect. automaticly, I'd expect to be also connected to the MKV what there is a SSID match.
  3. I have the following settings with PineAP, MK5 Karma Log: Probes,Associations,PineAP Daemon, Send Beacon Responses, Harvest SSIDs, Dogma. Those are all checked. I see in the PineAp ssid management the different networks the MKV gets from my iphone's probe request. Also when I scan the wifi network I see all the extra ssid's. What should i have to do to let my smartphone connect automatic with one of these networks. I don't want to manually select the wifi network from the smartphone.
  4. It works I made the following schript en placed it in /etc/init.d/ #!/bin/bash # This script will put symbol links from sd card to /etc/nodogsplash/htdocs folder ln -s /sd/ /etc/nodogsplash/htdocs/images/ I called the file imgfromsd and made the imgfromsd file executable. Don't know if this is the correct way, but it works ;).
  5. Tnx, It works :), your the best :d I'll try (on my own ....lol) to figure out how to make this line automatic, so when I reset the MKV, it will be like the same as you explained. If it doesn't work I will let you know. I'm new to linux (terminal) , but with my friend google I hope to succeed.
  6. @newbi3, Thank for the reply. Unfortunately nodogslash configuration file does not include the "image" part, so I can't change the &imagedir path :(. Where should I put the "ln -s /sd/myimage.jpg /etc/nodogsplash/htdocs/images/", so that I can still view the files from the sd. Tnx, your the best :)
  7. Captive portal (Evil portal 2) is up and running. Because of the limited internal space, I want to use the sd card to store the pictures for the background and the buttons.. Now i shows: $imagesdir/wifidog.png But I want the images to be loaded from the sd card /sd/html/$imagesdir/ the folder in /sd/html is just called images
  8. @KiatoGS, that looks sweeeeeeeeeet :)
  9. I tried FruityWifi with my rpi2. I had the rpi2 and a alfa usb already, so for me fruitywifi was a very cheap step. I'm really a newby and I think that is the main reason I could not get it to function like it should be. The MKV works out of the box and there is more info on forums and on youtube. For me it was a very easy decision to buy the MKV eventhough I already have all the hardware to play with fruitywifi. And the MKV looks pretty pretty slick :)
  10. Just received my Mark V. Had to pay some custom fees but am very happy with this decive. I bought it to use the captive portal. Did find a very good tutorial on youtube, so thats the main reason that i purchase this beauty. Now i'm fiddling a bit with this device. I have also an ALFA AWUS036H connected. I can see that my iphone is connected with it, when i use PineAP. Also have selected "MK5 Karma, Probes, Associations, PineAP Daemon, Send Beacon Responses, Harvest SSID and Dogma" when I click the PineAP bar I can see my iphone and when I click on it's mac address I see some probe request, but that's pretty much it. What should I do so that I can see on the pinapple what my iphone is doing. For instance what webpages i'm searching ect.ect. My log files stay empty. Sorry about my bad english and hope you understand me :)
