Intel is supposed to be implementing dynamic acceleration technology to the Penryn core. If your running a single threaded app, and not utilizing the second core, it will effectively overclock itself.

This book was a great read. Right along the lines of Steven Levy's Hackers Go To by Steve Lohr or Masters of Doom by David Kushner basically the story of how id began, also a good read.

IIRC Amiga's were the first true multitasking machines. Also Jay Miner, the father of the Atari 400/800, was the main architect of the Amiga. It almost had an Atari badge on it, but those dopey Tramiels dropped the ball and Commodore swooped in.

Sparda no really the whole phone and mouse case was not them, i tryed it my self i moved the phone closer to the mouse whilest he was on the internet on his phone and the mouse had a spazem and they got more violence as you moved the phone back and fourth. I assume you mean the pointer on the screen moved, and not the mouse physically moving across the table, right? :) I would think it was just radio waves causing interference, unless he was actually able to control the pointer.

The next step would be to curve it, so you could almost step into it. A new market will be formed, to handle the chaffed finger tips.

Same thing happens to me. But only on certain computers. I found a way around it. Just go into any thread and click reply, and it should log you in. Very strange, I thought it was just me. :)

Another way to look at it is: If you run multiple computers, you will be able to hook up 4 with the 2 17" VS 2 with the 20", by using both DVI and VGA inputs and switching from the monitors themselves.

Somebody brought up on the radio this morning, that it was a good way to test our readiness. And now we know, we'll never make it out this city if it were real. :shock:
