Hi,
I have set up Pineapple V for some home network testing according to the instructions and having installed tcpdump, however it doesn't appear to capture traffic. It is generating output - e.g. HTTP/1.1 200 OK\r\n - but when I navigate to a URL as a test, the URL doesn't appear in the output. I can see router traffic in a separate wireshark session on the same home network though.
I'm thinking that the pineapple is not receiving packets sent from other users, including my own laptop, which it tethered to the pineapple with ethernet cable or else I haven't correctly pointed pineapple to the router or vice versa.
That's the basic situation; if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it - you need any more info shout.
