is anyone else having connection issues when trying to setup an internet connection ? Please keep in mind I have been using Pineapples since markiv. first I tried wireless client mode (which has no other option then to use wlan2 ? is it meant to be this way? if so why is there a select interface drop down?). scanned for SSIDs. selected my SSID. put in password (if I put in the wrong password the connect bar has a circling animation that just appears to circle forever. and I can no longer scan for SSIDs until I reboot.). then it looks as if it connects (green checkmark). I click save

I fixed my issue with the SD card not mounting properly by following @Havenbreaker post on this thread and rewriting the fstab file.

if you are getting this with "fdisk -l" then putty into your nano and go to root dir. normally you have to "cd .." once. do "mkdir sdcard". then " mount -t ext4 /dev/sda2 /sdcard". After that log back into the web interface and see if it is correctly identifying your sdcard. I am having the same issue. but my sdcard is hanging when I try to install any modules to the sdcard.

wondering what im doing wrong. I had evil portals running previously with evil portal templates working. Now after a clean reload of FW 2.4.2 and evil portal module 3.1 when ever I load a captive portal none of the images load. the index.php appears to be showing the correct path src="assets/img/dtnk16mcjo.png"> the image files are there. both installed on SD card. none of the supplied portals are loading images.

I upgraded from 2.0.2 to 2.4.2. Since then I have tried downgrading back to 2.0.2 to 2.1.X etc etc. with no luck. -

@Foxtrot it appears multiple people are all having this issue with PineAP. Ive encountered people across multiple forums. all describing the same issue where clients are not associating with PineAP after 2.4.2 FW upgrade. Ive given you my debug log. are you still looking into it? or? -
PineAP : no client automatically connected

I am having the same issue. which only just started once upgrading to 2.4.2. I was on 2.0.2 before and everything was working perfectly. but now even downgrading to any other FW does not fix it. I hope they come out with a fix soon. -
Nano does not maintain wired internet connection

I would be careful about updating at the moment. Multiple people are reporting problems on the latest FW. -

PineAP wont start - tried firmware recovery - still wont start
bakedmuffinman replied to gop12's topic in WiFi Pineapple NANO
what I mean is that previously before the 2.4.2 patch I was on 2.0.2. I would plug my Nano into power. it would boot up and start PineAP automatically with allow associations. Phones, laptops, computers would automatically start connecting under which ever SSID they were searching for. since the 2.4.2 nothing automatically connects. ive only been able to manually connect a device to the set PineAP SSID. and even then it acts buggy. like it will connect then disconnect. I have to reconnect 3x before stably connecting. @Foxtrot -

got debug working. I believe im having the same issue. PineAP is not associating with client. PineineAP Daemon: shows as enabled on auto start. CPU is nearly always showing 100% from the dashboard. but not from Status module downloaded from wifipineapple.com after I upgraded FW from 2.0.2 to 2.4.2 Literally right before I upgraded I had clients auto associating to the pineapple. debug(1).log -

I get an error when generating "SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data" -
Pretty disappointed. my Nano was working fine before this update. now I cant get pineap working at all. no clients ever connect. I believe I was on 2.02 before I updated today. Ive tried factory reset tried reverting to FW 2.02. ics working. filters are in deny mode. not sure where else to look for support.
