  1. Yes indeed @sebkinne so the micro USB are both wired as POWER then for data one serial and one ethernet (is there a usbnet in the kernel or is this ment as a USB to Ethernet dongle port? kinda confused on that spec)
  2. I was looking at rolling a COMPEX WPJ344LV but you guys reworked a better unit just wish profit margin was smaller per unit so it had more killer specs (64megs vs 128megs) no microSD slot I just hate onboard NAND failures (thou it is SLC) what todo, what todo...
  3. Theres already another board 802.11ac+802.11ac and again atheros processor
  4. He said he wants the versalitality of the ANT500 so multiple freq. as I pointed out the discone, but the I'm on board with nolist it would be nice to have a better antenna setup after looking at it Im thinking an active antenna is prob. gonna be the best choice
  5. something like this comes to mind since you want a wide range to play/make use of. http://www.radioshack.com/radioshack-outdoor-scanner-ham-discone-antenna/2000043.html but as you can see your limited This would actually be a good topic for some ham operators to chime in on, is there anything that can do ?mhz~6ghz some what effectively an ALL in one of sorts?
  6. Easy, what you want todo here is whatever area you'll be in say KY find what cellular providers are in that area (I know BlueGrass Cellular is one) then what you need todo is do a search for a MVNO that has a nice rate plan and find out what provider they are reselling service off of (T-Mobile and Sprint are the TWO BIGGEST MVNO suppliers not sure BG has one) and make sure check the coverage map NOT True his device or equipment could have A-GPS only which require's data connection for refreshing
