  1. Well it was said the new firmware was to be released in mid March, but no dice. I did however notice that once when the pineapple got the negative attention From the U.S senator, things got awfully quiet around here. Is it just coincidence?
  2. I don't think so, but it's not advisable nor optimal. I would just pick up the neh sold from the hakshop and use it as wlan2 to provide net access
  3. Been having issue's with reaver and bully for a while but after doing these commands all worked great, reaver/bully both run as they should. The only issue i'm having now is, there is no infusion installed for them, not a major one as i prefer cli anyways. ~Thanks DataHead for the fix's :) If you are having issues with wash, please do the above. The wps infusion uses wash to gather the needed wps info
  4. Well simlinking is such ln -s /what/needs/stay/in/place /where/it/should/symlink So example say I have a directory full of music on my sd card called /Killertoonz, but I want it available in the root /www directory I would put ln -s /sd/killertoonz /www Which would make a symlink structure of/www/killertoonz Or if I had a specific file omgthebestkillertoon.mp3 ln -s /sd/killertoonz/omgthebestkillertoon.mp3 /www Would make a symlinked structure as /www/omgthebestkillertoon.mp3 but the files & /directories stay in place on the /sd
  5. Seems me and fringes posted at the same time lol
  6. The problem wpa2 emulation with a different password than what the real wpa2 network has, it will still be encrypted packets. You can however successfully clone a wpa2 network if you know the real wpa2 networks password, and use the same mac address, channell etc. But makes it pointless because we would have to already know the password. I think the best we will get for this kind of information gathering, would be with Linset. Its not quite what you are wanting, but it works great
  7. You can symlink all sorts of goodness for space saving :-) When installing packages, you can use: opkg update && opkg -d sd insatll the-package-you-wish And it will install it to the /sd partition. I would then check the packages .opkg install log and see if it installed it all correctly, if not, symlink em to where they need to go. The www folder and contents can also be symlinked like you want. Create the stuff you want on the sd, and symlink them to www
  8. I'm very interested in this project, hows it progressing?
  9. I have to agree with zara. The 36H is rather good at what it does, but its an older card aswel. I use my external 36h with my pineapple. Inface I use the nh, neh, and the 36h all in my powered hub to the pineapple. And all for different purposes. While the 36h is great and amazing in its connectivity / injection standars, it is dismissive in other requirements you may need. Its a b/g card. If that's what you seek, then go for the 36h. If you need b/g/n. Go for the NH
  10. The neh is low power consumption and max 1watt, and is in a smaller case. The nh is higher power consumption and 2watt and in a bigger case
  11. A simple way, is get filezilla and setup a connection there to your pineapple via SFTP with your pineapple username and pass you use to login to the interface
  12. They wont know the port number to the webui unless if they know you are running a pineapple and or scan and check the pineapple for open ports. But even still, thay can all be changed. And on top of it, its password protected, so they would have to know your password or bruteforce it. If I can remember the script suit name, there is a nice little program for openwrt & linux machines that protects against some attacks. As for disabling access to the web ui from unwanted connections, I believe with some dnsspoof magic, this could be worked out? Not positive though
  13. " -d <bssid>, --bssid <bssid> It will only show networks, matching the given bssid. " Try it without -d If you are putting -d in confusion with my other post, that was only with regaurds to opkg.
  14. Well to answer one of your questions, if you wish to have it run in the background in a session without having to have putty or etc, you can create sessions with screen or tmux and it will run with out your intervene and you can reattach to the sessions. They aren't installed by default on the pineapple. So you will have to opkg update opkg -d sd install screen Or opkg update opkg -d sd install tmux Then just google for the commands of which you choose to create sessions and reattach etc etc Edit: The '-d sd' means to install the packages to the sd card, ifbyou wish to have it installed to your internal, just rid of the -d sd Or if wish to install it to usb, then I believe is just -d usb
  15. Looks mighty nice! keep up the good work!!
  16. Also depends on what your main use would be. If it were me, I wouldn't recommend the NHA for a stable / steady internet connection, but more for survey of access points that the others just can't quite pick up. You will see among a plethora on various forums of people having issues with stability and having to physicaly unplug the NHA from usb and plug it back in because it just "quits" on them, with low use.
  17. The NEH is a smaller lower powered version of the NH and both perform very well! The NHA is a good card also, it has a high sensitivity which is nice, and rather high power. but in my experience, it has issues of bad stability across the board. If I had to recommend one, I would say the NH ( or the neh ). But wait for ithers opinions, or do more research of nha vs neh vs nh. they are all good cards, but all have their pros and cons
  18. Anyone tried with tmux? Or using it with the 'nice' command?
  19. Also needs an edit of urls in /pineapple/components/system/bar/functions.php
  20. Actually, it would appear the domain where the infusions are hosted ( https://www.wifipineapple.com/?infusions ), is down or having issues right now. Been like that lately, just keep checking / trying periodically
