  1. Yes...but he's trying to crack WPS with wlan0 for some reason. He seems to want to connect to wlan0 and crack with wlan0. What he should be doing is using wlan0 as an access point to connect to the pineapple and use wlan1 for cracking..
  2. Connect via a network cable. You can't crack WPS with the radio you are connected to.
  3. You would need to add a USB adapter and configure it as an AP.
  4. Looks like it might not be a proble with RandomRoll...it does the exact same thing with EvilPortal and DNSSpoof. My guess is that the web server isn't serving up https pages.
  5. Same here...works great over http but https doesn't work at all. The sites that get visited the most (Facebook, etc) all use https.
  6. Is there a way to resume progress with this infusion using reaver? When using the command line and pressing CTRL+C it saves your session so you can resume it later. You can also edit the session file to change where it left off. I haven't been able to find a session file after stopping reaver while using it through the infusion. It should be in /sd/etc/reaver/ for me, but only reaver.db shows up. Any ideas?
  7. That sounds like it would create a lot of heat. at 12v, you should only be giving is 1amp to make 12 watts. OP: I suggest a USB-A to Type M barrel (5.5mm OD 2.1mm ID) connector and charging it with a USB charger (use one that is capable of charging a tablet). 5v with 2amps would give you 10watts. With that cable, there are a ton of chargers you can connect it to. It would also make it very easy to have a USB battery pack with and a solar charger.
  8. Just watched your google hangout video for the 2.0.2 firmware. When you said you don't have a good term for a "beacon response" it reminded me of meaconing. A meacon is a misleading beacon. It was used (and still may be) during the cold war to either confuse or redirect aircraft off course.
  9. What I mean by using eth0 was to have a 6-10ft cat5 from the pineapple that is in client mode going a laptop to see if it stays connected. That would isolate wlan0 from the setup. Even if something isn't believed to be the cause, I always try to make the simplest setup when troubleshooting. After a setup has proven to work, then start adding more components/complexities. I've even seen "known good" components that don't work in other "known good" systems when working with RF, so I always like to start small.
  10. How is Darren setting up the Pineapple mesh network with point-to-point links? He demos this in season 15 of the Hak5 show. I just recently ordered a Mark V to do this (bridging a wifi network over some distance) so I don't have one to test out various things yet. Are you sure there isn't a channel conflict (wlan0 and wlan1 on same channel)? I'm assuming you'd be using a high-gain directional antenna (panel, yagi, etc) for wlan1 and a dipole on wlan0 for the hotspot. This should help mitigate any intereference. Have you tried disabling wlan0 and connecting a machine directly to eth0? If that is stable, throw on a switch with 2-3 computers or put up an access point to see if it remains stable. Failing that, I'd try putting an Alfa AWUS036NHA on usb and see if it stays connected.
