  1. It works fine under Windows 8.1. You need to enable ICS on the wireless and then set the IP to 172.16.42.42 on the Pineapple card.
  2. Yes the default route is being updated properly. root@Pineapple:~# netstat -rn Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags MSS Window irtt Iface 0.0.0.0 192.168.43.1 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 wlan2 172.16.42.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 br-lan 192.168.43.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 wlan2 root@Pineapple:~# I am starting to think its power issues I have tried a few different adapters and my NHA light is nice and bright blue but my H is dim green. Edit: I am using 12V 1A to power the Pineapple.
  3. I was annoyed it wasn't just the same connecter as every other wifi card/antenna I have ever seen. Yet another thing I have to order...
  4. So I disabled wlan1 and connected my Alfa AWUS036NHA to Internet (client mode) in the pineapple web ui. Neither the pineapple nor devices connected to the admin ssid have Internet access. What am I configuring wrong?
  5. I just started using my MK5 and updated it from stock to current though web ui. I am guessing the normal is solid green and periodically blinking orange/blue/red when there is activity. But my pineapple keeps going into some weird state with solid green light and blinking blue light. I was told this means flashing. I have formatted the sd card so I don't think its trying to update from there why would it keep doing this? Does it just mean scanning sd card for update file maybe? Is there a list of light codes somewhere?
  6. I have no use for my MK5 and really need a repeater. https://forums.hak5....-as-a-repeater/ In the above thread he says flash dd-wrt? I was hoping since the Pineapple software is based off OpenWrt a flash of unmodified OpenWrt will be possible.
