  1. the ubertooth is a nice platform for some bluetooth stuff. but its a bit big so you need to make it somewhat smaller to make it work like you wand to implement it. https://greatscottgadgets.com/ubertoothone/ if you want display back that is going to be tricky because that is some big amount of data. but have a look at this defcon talk about the eBUSe check the nrf devices from nordicsemi. search for a controller that has bluetooth and usb and microntroller. maybe you can find a nice chip there to use for the project. maybe the nRF52840 is a nice one.
  2. best way to get a time is to ask for it by a ntp server. or grabbing it from a packet.
  3. new C++ teacher give's use non working C++ code for practics. Its a port from java to c to c++ with the uglyst ports between language. good luck next monday i wand to see results.
  4. maybe you can couple your mac adress and login. if the mac adress is wrong show some other page then the login screen. it wil take some time to get the mac adress right if you need to guess it.
