  1. Sorry I have been ill for awhile! The problem is most likely the SD card. At times when I boot up the Nano, it does not recognize the SD card. Of course like many here we use the SD cards to store our Dependencies that we want to use. Tomorrow , will fire up the Nano again, and see if the problem still exist.
  2. I know your frustration! The SD card function on the Nano is miss and play. At times when you boot up the Nano it will recognize the SD card. At other times nothing!
  3. Hello, Just wondering where you able to install 2 antennas to your Tetra?
  4. So, instead of Log Out, you Shut Down unit and wait until it closes, before removing power from unit, is this Correct?
  5. Not sure if it is my Nano or Windows 8. Nano not stable, at times it connects, many modules do not Start! Also keep getting error network connection. I know for a fact it is not my wifi, as I am in another room. And I can access other sites, but Nano many times will not connect. Or should I dedicate a laptop with Kali Linux? Any comments appreciated.
  6. Looks like a very Great project, I wish I had half the Brains you have. Keep us posted on your results. Happy Testing!
  7. Problem fixed! To anyone else who happens to stumble across this page in the future, this solution comes from member "afraIT". I had originally set my NANO on "Allow" mode (for both options) when doing the initial setup. This turned out to be wrong and would cause the client to not be able to reach the internet once connected. RESOLUTION Preform a factory reset and choose "Deny" mode for both options instead of "Allow". (Fill in everything else as you normally would) I then connected to my NANO via the website, then connected the NANO to my internet (Networking page - WiFi Client Mode) Next, I did a brief Recon scan, added the "Scan Results" (there's a nice little drop-down arrow "Add all SSID's to PineAP Pool"), went to PineAP, checked all the boxes, enabled both options and saved the settings. Lastly, I used my iPhone to search for the local WiFi. Connected my iPhone to my NANO's AP successfully and was able to reach Google 🙂 (I also tried connecting this way with a Android as well; works)
  8. Thanks for explanation.
  9. Have any you Testers, added an External Antenna to your Nano? If so, which brand antenna did you use, and I guess you need 2 antennas, correct? I want to put one outside on my roof. I am sure being inside you do loose signal quality.
  10. Thanks Jtyle6 Will try it out and let you know how it went,
  11. Hello, I have the Nano with the 2.7.0 version, nothing but problems. How can I install an earlier firmware version. I went back to Factory specs. But the 2.7.0 version still appears. Any info would be appreciated.
  12. So, you are saying firmware 2.6.2 resolved your issue?
  13. Same problem here now, sometimes you can see modules on left, and other times nothing. Sometimes have to reboot Nano a few times before it works.
  14. It has been less than 2 weeks when I received my Nano! Was working good for the first 10 days. Now when I boot it, I get the Blue Flashing lights for 1 minute, but no Solid Blue Light after. I did noticed the unit gets Hot! I remember there was always a Solid Blue light after booting.
  15. Let me explain, every thing on the Nano side is good. Bulletin works, modules work. Ok. so I get out a Samsung Note 2 that is not activated, but wifi works. My open SSID on the Nano is AWHS, and on the phone it shows very strong signal. of course I am in same room When I clik to connect to my opened SSID, it gets an errror Authentication error occured. Anyone run into this problem.
  16. I cannot get anyone to connect, it could be because no one is logging into my open ssid
  17. Newbie here, I have an Nano. I see a bunch of ssids in my SSID POOL, how do they get there?
  18. I just got my nano about 5 days ago, and my sd card mounted. I am using a ScanDisk 32gb. I used the GUI on my Nano, and Format the card. Working perfect.
  19. Panic, thanks for info, It seems it is working now, after hard reboot. How can I check , what is in my SD card, and how much space still available.
  20. The Nano was able to format my usb card. But when I went to install modules, it only gives me the internal install, not option for usb install? Anyone have this problem.
