Frankly i've been waiting to hear that from Whistle Master. I prefer to wait for the infusion to be released. (Don't want to go through the hassle of possibly bricking my mkv)
thanks guys!!

The only thing they haven't copied is the Hak5 show. At least for now....
-
I thought they had pulled it from their site a few months ago.
-
Looks like someone is trying to rip off Hak5 again.
This is not only ripping off Hak5 but it's also ripping off everyone who has collaborated in these forums (with infusions, tutorials etc....)
Really sucks!

I 2nd that. Would really like to have Linset work on the mkv.
-
For now, I guess it's an infusion upgrade.

Take a look at the thread:

DATAHEAD is working on Pixiscript. He needs to iron out some details.
But its coming

Finally an improved wireless tethering system has been implemented, allowing one to share an Internet connection from a client device - such as a laptop or rooted smartphone. In this configuration a tertiary WiFi interface such as a USB ALFA radio is unnecessary - thus lowering overall power consumption and increasing run time for battery powered systems. Just connect to the WPA Management AP, set a static IP to 172.16.42.42 and enable sharing with iptables - just as you would with wp5.sh
Can someone clarify this part? I've connected my rooted Android to my MKV before (wireless and USB) What's different now?
Thanks guys!

Thanks for keeping up to speed Datahead. I'm sure it's going to be worth the wait.
Thanks again.

Thanks so much DATAHEAD!
I really appreciate the time you're putting into this.
Really looking forward to this infusion. I've had some success using this script in with WifiSlax. It's VERY automatic. The really doesn't need to do much at all. :)
Cheers!

Thanks Datahead!! Looking forward to it.
I've used Pixie Dust before, It will be a huge plus for the mkv.

I know some people have attempted but couldn't do it.
Linset would be a great asset to the mkv. Better yet a combination of Evil Portal and Linset would simply be insane.
The only problem with linset is that it doesn't work with https and you can modify the splash screen. (at least not that easily)

I saw that video too. It's really a brilliant idea.
I 2nd that request

Did the community hangout ever take place?
-
The date is wrong Wednesday -> Thursday ? Couse today is the 30.
So it´s today or ?
Good point, I just noticed that.
Is there going to be a link for the live stream?
-
guess i missed the community hangout. :(
Was it going to be shown on Google Hangouts? I couldn't find it.
Will there be a recorded version available?
thanks!

VERY nice guys!:
Before the update: if the mkv wasn't assigned an ip, the ui became VERY slowwwww. :(
NOW: It's as Quick as cat without having an assigned ip.
BIG hats off to the Hak5 Team!!!!!

Great job guys! Thanks for listening to all the feedback.
I'm really looking forward to playing around with this.
Quick question, Auto starting the PineAp suite is basically replacing the need to auto start with dip switches. (at least for PineAP Suite), right?
Thanks again!!!

Thanks guys!!!I simply went to my dlink's UI and went to the "status" menu to see what devices wereconnected to my dlink router. In my case it was: "192.168.0.198" So i added the "1471" port to the local ip: "192.168.0.198:1471"And BINGO!Thanks guys, here's a screenshot in case someone runs into the same problem.Cheers!

Hey fellas,
I'm having the same issue, "trying to connect my mkv to a router"
this is what i have done:
* Ethernet cable from mkv to dlink router
* In the mkv UI, Networking / Wired - "CLIENT MODE" "DHCP"
Local network settings
IP: 172.16.42.1Netmask: 255.255.255.0Gateway:DNS: 8.8.8.8When i connect to my dlink router, i have internet but when going to http://172.16.42.1:1471 it simply doesn't work,I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Can anyone give me any suggestions? Thanks. -
I second this:
I recommend using WinSCP. I never have problems using it with my Pineapple. -
Guys, let's not forget, that a newly purchased MKV does not come with a DEAUTH infusion. You have the option to download the infusion and use it for personal use. Maybe Hak5 should put a disclaimer or something like that prior to downloading an infusion.
The MKV, could be used for many other things such as an ABS tracker, Pentesting/auditing etc...
Also, not all of us live in the US. I'm sure there are some/many countries that have no law regarding this.
Cheers

EXCELLENT VIDEO!
sniffing rtmp or m3u8 streams
in Everything Else
Posted
Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone knows how to find rtmp or m3u8 streams?
There are many webpages out there that are broadcasting HD TV channels etc.. but i can't seem to get the rtmp or m3u8 stream. (in order to play it on vlc or Kodi (ex-xmbc)
URL sniffer with Wincap doesn't seem to cut it. Inspecting the source code doesn't really help either.
Any help or clues would be greatly appreciated.
Thx!
