  1. Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to find rtmp or m3u8 streams?

There are many webpages out there that are broadcasting HD TV channels etc.. but i can't seem to get the rtmp or m3u8 stream. (in order to play it on vlc or Kodi (ex-xmbc)

URL sniffer with Wincap doesn't seem to cut it. Inspecting the source code doesn't really help either.

Any help or clues would be greatly appreciated.

    Thx!

  2. Frankly i've been waiting to hear that from Whistle Master. I prefer to wait for the infusion to be released. (Don't want to go through the hassle of possibly bricking my mkv)

    thanks guys!!

  3. Finally an improved wireless tethering system has been implemented, allowing one to share an Internet connection from a client device - such as a laptop or rooted smartphone. In this configuration a tertiary WiFi interface such as a USB ALFA radio is unnecessary - thus lowering overall power consumption and increasing run time for battery powered systems. Just connect to the WPA Management AP, set a static IP to 172.16.42.42 and enable sharing with iptables - just as you would with wp5.sh

Can someone clarify this part? I've connected my rooted Android to my MKV before (wireless and USB) What's different now?

    Thanks guys!

  4. I know some people have attempted but couldn't do it.

Linset would be a great asset to the mkv. Better yet a combination of Evil Portal and Linset would simply be insane.

The only problem with linset is that it doesn't work with https and you can modify the splash screen. (at least not that easily)

  5. Thanks guys!!!

I simply went to my dlink's UI and went to the "status" menu to see what devices were

    connected to my dlink router.

In my case it was: "192.168.0.198" So i added the "1471" port to the local ip: "192.168.0.198:1471"

    And BINGO!

Thanks guys, here's a screenshot in case someone runs into the same problem.

    Cheers!

  6. Hey fellas,

I'm having the same issue, "trying to connect my mkv to a router"

this is what i have done:

    * Ethernet cable from mkv to dlink router

    * In the mkv UI, Networking / Wired - "CLIENT MODE" "DHCP"

    Local network settings

    IP: 172.16.42.1
    Netmask: 255.255.255.0
    Gateway:
    DNS: 8.8.8.8
When i connect to my dlink router, i have internet but when going to http://172.16.42.1:1471 it simply doesn't work,
I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Can anyone give me any suggestions?
    Thanks.
  7. Guys, let's not forget, that a newly purchased MKV does not come with a DEAUTH infusion. You have the option to download the infusion and use it for personal use. Maybe Hak5 should put a disclaimer or something like that prior to downloading an infusion.

The MKV, could be used for many other things such as an ABS tracker, Pentesting/auditing etc...

Also, not all of us live in the US. I'm sure there are some/many countries that have no law regarding this.

    Cheers
