  1. I hope I didn't jump the gun too. Let's hope that the nano and the tetra get the same amount of support and of course infusions.
  2. No need for alarm. I'm sure the hardware is good on almost all of these devices. Unfortunately things do happen like every product that exist. Rest assured you'll have your issue resolved. The guys @ Hak5 really prioritize quality & service. Cheers
  3. Well, it is my understanding that there will be no hardware change. This may be the Evaluation version but as for hardware it's a final version. The only changes we'll see from here on out will be firmware updates. Cheers
  4. As far as I know it's coming. I think Hak5 needs to get some kind of approval. After that I think we should see some modules popping up. The developers are working pretty hard on this, so I guess we need to patient. Remember, this is an evaluation period mainly focused on developers. Cheers
  5. I could assume that the nano is brick proof. (Like the mkv)
  6. Thank you, that was very clear. Can't wait to get my Nano :) Cheers, steve
  7. Thanks, what kind of cable will i need? Might as well try to get one before my nano arrives. Thx
  8. GREAT!, Thanks Seb Regarding #2, I actually meant: Can I use the Android software (from the google play) even if i set up my Nano with the computer? I suppose it shouldn't be an issue. thanks Seb!
  9. Hey guys, just wanted to get q quick heads up before my Nano arrives. 1) Can i set it up with a pc? Or must i use Android? (I would imagine that it's not a problem) 2) Perhaps after setting the Nano up with the pc, would it be possible to tether it with the Nano? 3) I use a 3g dongle on my Mark V with great success. Will i be able to use that same 3g on my Nano? Thanks!!
  10. @sud0nick, We hope you get your hands on the Nano so we can see more of your infusions! Cheers!
  11. Thanks for the clarification Seb. I understand the HTS issue and also understand that it's not exactly a Pineapple issue, Here's why I will buy one: Future infusion new will be made for Nano. Eventually there will be more support for it as well. I assume this will take time so patience will be a plus. I'm really not too interested in selling my MKV. Perhaps we could Tango the MKV and Nano.... Who knows... Placing my order tonight. Thanks guys.
  12. Thanks Foxtrot. I presumed that answer somewhat. However, there has been some claims of some users defeating it. I imagine if they are able to defeat it, we won't really know for a while. Ok, one last question if I buy the Nano Evaluation version, will there be a difference between the evaluation version and the final version? (in terms of hardware) I imagine and hope that the only difference will only be firmware, right? Thanks guys and thanks Hak5 for supporting the Mark 5 for as long as you did. No complaints here, I got my money's worth.
  13. I have the same concern. Besides, the the convenient size and power, I think we have the same limitation as the the Mark V. I am going to buy the Nano sooner or later. Is the current version the final version? Or will the final version just be a firmware update? Thanks guys!
  14. bookmaked, thx. Well we're almost half way through the month, let's cross our fingers it's released soon.
  15. Hey guys, any news on the upcoming release?
  16. I totally understand your points. Infusions do get updated quite often (or at least they used to, because i haven't seen too much activity in the infusion area lately) But every time an infusion get's updated it's always for something better. That's what makes this ever so much more interesting. Everyone has a role to play. Without videos, there would be many more redundant questions out here in the forum. Videos are a great way of learning and expressing issues. I'm sure I speak for many people out here, your collaboration has been very appreciated. I certainly hope that you'll stick around for upcoming Pineapple. I've made a few videos out here (not nearly as good as yours) and I understand that It's time consuming and difficult to do when you have a lot of noise in the house. been there, done that. Stick around dude, I've got a good feeling that this new update could be what we've been waiting for.
  17. It might be a good idea to hold on to it. Maybe we cold use "Tango mode" or something.
  18. @ZaraByte, don't sell it. We need more of your TUTORIALS!!!! :)
  19. Hey guys, whatever happened to the pineapple slices?
  20. I guess that explains why the mk5 is sold out. Good bye mk5, hello mk6? If it's a mk6, what would convince you to get one? For the record, I love my mk5. It's going to be pretty difficult to top it, (considering the limitations that we have today).
  21. According to the developers, the MKV is almost unbrickable. I recently had problems with mine and got it working again. Check here: https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/36703-is-my-mkv-dead/
  22. i think it's a hardware update and perhaps that's why they're sold out. Imagine buying a mk5 today and next week, they release the mk6. It would kinda suck. just my 2 cents
  23. I couldn'the agree more.
  24. Well if you consider that the mkv is sold out and has been for some time now...... i would think that it's new hardware..... maybe mk6
