Frist , I would like to thank "phpsystems" , " overwraith , Merlintime , cheeto, Xcellerator, overwraith and also fringes for your comments and feedback. Based upon what I read in your posting it definately made me do a 180. Those are very,very ligimate use cases. You are correct phpsystems "Pentesting is about thinking outside the box". Thank you for not being negive. You all have posted intellgence comments in a very respectfull manner, and I thank you for that.

Xcellerator - Thank you for responding to my post. I want to make this very clear. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Darren Kitchen and everyone at Hak5. I will continue to support them. That being said, in phpsystems post “ Stream your radio from your SDR via the Wifi Pineapple: RTLRadioStreamer “ The Wi-Fi Pineapple was and is marketed at as Wireless network pentesting tool. How is streaming your radio with the Mark V a legitimate use of that tool ? If I want to stream music I sure as heck am not using the Mark V. Please note. I am not basing on Darren at all, or Hak5. I totally respect the show. I am opening a dialog. Please any comments are welcome.

Here is my question back to you. How was this the WiFi Pineapple Marketed as ? http://wiki.wifipineapple.com/index.php/Main_Page "The WiFi Pineapple Mark V is the latest generation wireless network auditing tool from Hak5." You are totally missing the point. I don't think Darren and the developers of this product should not have even included that is as a infustion. Here is a question. Maybe they should be split.

Greetings Everyone, I too have experience the same performance issue(s) as well. I won't go into details. What I have a major beef is. Darren, this product was marketed as a wireless pen testing tool. Correct. Now I see infusions for monitoring Airplanes, AM -FM Radio, Drones. To me that makes this product loses its creditability as Wi-Fi Pen testing tool as so you marketed as. Now it seems like a toy. Please tell me if I wrong. Still love the show. I just think Hak5 lost it way.

This is good thread. I had the exact same experence. I was bumbed when I got my Wi-Fi Pineapple MarkV. When the device booted up I just got a sold/blinking amber light. It turns out that the 2 GB MicroSD card was bad. I finally receaved a new MicroSD card 4 days later; with good firmware. However, when I went update it to the lateset firmware; I got a blinking blue light for hours. I was really looking forward to using this device.

Greetings Darren. I have to say that I sad too.. One I am a huge fan of the show, and as such I support your show by the purchase of the WI-Fi Pineapple Mark V. However when I booted up the product solid amber. You could imagine by excitement went right out the window, Why do you guy get it the smallest cheapest part caused your product to fail. i am really disappointed, why should not have a product work right out of the box. i am really upset and now I question the quality of the product as a whole. this is a big over sight.. I was really looking forward to working with the product. I hope you can help. Still a fan.
