i can disable wireless and have wired connection to pineapple or unplug eth cable and have internet through wifi but not both

its like everytime i plug in eth0 it cant decide if it wants to connect to eth0 or wlan0

I can connect through wireless but not if I plug in the LAN cable. I am using Kali. I did the wp5.sh script for ICS. I thought it had something to do with Kali or the laptop I am using. However, my windows pc has the same issue. It just keeps secrching for a connection.
