Depending where they are located, It is possible to have it before the end of the year. That is if it is ready. -
Does your router support WPS? If you're running a custom firmware, chances are not.

Kim dotcom was quickly to say that he gave 3000 Lifetime premium accounts to Lizard Squad for them to stop and it stopped quickly there after.

I find it funny that you want to start a new group of noobs, as you called them, but find a group that has pulled off successful DDoS attacks a joke.
-
I'm fairly certain that someone has already started a new group.. Here is the link https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/33180-new-hacker-group/ In my opinion, people would like to start a new "Hacker Group" because they think it sounds cool or they think they can some attention from the media or whatever. I won't go into my full opinion of the subject of forming a hacker group of people with no experience, etc.. If it is information and learning that you are after, the forums should assist you in that way. My recommendations would be to think what you want to learn/do, search the net, use the search on the forums, and then post questions. Make sure you understand the forum rules and do a thorough search before you post questions. P.S. With your desire to learn, I recommend that you buy an MKV and start experimenting.

I submitted my resume to Sony as my-resume.pdf.exe

I second the forum search!

I'm down for having a torrent of every episode/would be willing to pay for postage and media.
-
Search the forums for HSTS and the other sslstrip posts, they pretty much cover it.

With the new firmware the is a security authentication step now, the flashing blue light is searching for firmware. Do you get an IP when plugged into ethernet? I am starting to think this maybe hardware related and not PEBKAC, Maybe reach out to the Darren/seb/hakshop. -

Do any of the lights flash at all, like the blue led during a boot? -
I don't understand the fascination with obtaining someones FB creds. Set up an evil portal and create a fake authentication page that harvests account info. Create some be splash page saying " To use our internet hotspot free of charge..blah blah blah.... use you FB or whatever creds you want... to log in blah blah blah.. Of course I can't see a legit reason that you would need to obtain someones FB credentials.

What were you doing last time it worked? what have you installed/ been using it for. Did you read the wiki or the manual for the recovery steps? The more info you post, the easier we can assist you. -
Size M for the pineapple and I believe it was L for the battery, you can take the anker/pineapple into radioshack and they will size it.
-
I built my own from parts at radioshack. Less than $8

I know this has been posted before in the forums, but since we are having a whole thread for it, I'll post this. http://www.nbc12.com/story/23526890/on-your-side-alert-warning-about-wi-fi-pineapple
-
I removed the ic socket and soldered directly to the pineapple and now it works without problems. Will post completed pics later.
-
Iops I was looking at a pic I took on my computer and commenting on it rather than the one I uploaded. But either way it does not work. Continuity is there. Also if I connect more than three toggle switches the pineapple does not boot properly, solid red and blue and no activity
-
The picture with the wire in the ic socket and the dip switch up, is actually the underside of the pineapple. So the dip is off and the wire should make it on.

The plan is to leave the dip switch on the pineapple. I have soldered a a IC socket connector to the underside of the dip switches and cut a hole in the pineapple case to accommodate for it. This will allow me to plug and unplug the toggle switches as needed. I have ran a wire (without toggle switch) to two terminals of the original dip switch with no effect( i have changed the dip switch up and down, on and off). I will upload some pictures later today.
