  1. Like i said,. you need to work out the parameters that work for you! The command i gave was just an example. DOnt forget to seperate all commands with ; SSH into your pineapple using putty etc. run the command ettercap from there and see what parameters you can use. Get it to work on the cli. Oce you have a working command line put that in your dipswitch config.
  2. On one of your switches put something like: "pineapple karma start; sslstrip -s -a; ettercap -i br-lan" just make shure you put a ; after each command. Just run the ettercap en sslstrip command with -h on a ssh session and find the switches you are looking for!
  3. Hi. The flashing leds you described are to indicate a (succesfull) firmware flash has been completed. Therefor its a first time thing only, or when you (re) flash it with new firmware. as for getting internet on the MK5. If i understand you correctly you plugged ethernet fromyou laptop / desktop into the pineapple? You need either internet connectionsharing enabled on your windows box, or go to the network tile, click netword and on the third tab youlle find client mode. Use wlan 1 to scan and connect it to your home wifi. Presto. Update and install with goodies.
  4. Create a Pushover account on the website and create an application. You will get the token and alle the info you need to get pushover notifications working.

My old Huawei E180 is still working on 1.30 and 1.4.1 Help /sollution would be very much apreciated!!
  6. Do you have your dipswitches set the right way? ( 1 and 5, first and last) pointed up!? And how did you check the content of the SD card? Tried booting it without the SD card plugged in?
  7. Im encountering the exact same problem with my Huawei wich switches from 12d1:14fe to ID 12d1:1506 My MK5 is on 1.4.1 though... tried: opkg update opkg install kmod-usb-serial-option This did not resolve my problem. Situation remains the same,. Any ideas?
  8. Firmware 1.20 did not fix my 3G dongle problem. Although the Dongle i use for my MKIV is now working on my MK5 (12d1:1003) started working on this fw, my newer dongles are still offline. Any thoughts on troubleshooting this?
  9. *Bangs head to desk* Sadly for me the 1.20 fw didn't fix my modeswithcing problem. Any way to troubleshout why the generic driver isn't switching my device anymore?
  10. Didnt see the 1.20 firmware release post! Great work. Will try that next week and report back! Thanks again. https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/32208-release-120-codename-modemzilla/
  11. Ohw Damn! Very VERY nice. The 3G problem was giving me headaches! Thanks for adressing that problem! Great work!
  12. Still strugling with this! Any other thoughts or tips are very welcome! I dont want to stay on 1.04 but i need the 3G connection up and running?
  13. Thanx for your reply. Actualy i know my dongle is modeswitching just fine, becouse when i plug it into my other MK5 wich is still on 1.04 it switches perfectly (the first log in my original post is from the MK5 1.04 booting and dialing in). I found your reply in the other topic i mentioned earlyer today, but i have been experimenting with the modeswitch "Files' for a couple of days now, but dont seems to get the right combination for my huawei dongles. Yet on the 1.04 it works out of the box without any modeswitch files.....
  14. PS. There's a nice vid. about Antenna Theory on the Hak5 website. Maybe take a look and get a antenna that suits your needs!
  15. Have you tried using different antenna's instead of trying to amplify? Im getting good results using bigger and Bi-derectional antenna's!
  16. Hi, Im having troubles getting my 3G dongle only after a FW upgrade to 1.1.0 and 1.1.1. Luckily i own 2 Pineapple MKV's, so i am able to run one on 1.0.4 where my dongle connects perfectly. My problem seems to be almost the same as : https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/32163-zte-mf112-3g-dongle/ I own several Huawei dongles, the ones im using for the MK5 are "E3276s" dongles wich present them selves as12d1:1506. It seems that after upgrading to 1.1.0 my dongle is no longe switched by a generic "switcher??". My 1.04 is running perfecly. Can anyone assist me with this problem, provie a workiing modewitch file or help me in getting my dongle to switch using the generic converter again. Thanks very very VERY much!
  17. None actualy. Im running the MKIV on the 2a output, and a usb hub on the 1a wich powers an Alfa USB wifi adapter, a kingston USB stick and a Huawei E220 3G dongle. Runs fine for days on only 1 charge. It became unstable when i went to 3.0, but the battery wasnt the problem.

  19. Hi everybody, Ive been using my MKIV pineapple for quite some time now, and enjoying every minute of it. I am a "windows" tech so i always feel a bit like a fish out of the water when im on the pineapple but learning linux has been fun so far. After reading alot on these forums i figured i'd try and ask some help from the community. What i want to accomplish is this: I want to capture WIFI probes, and the probes only + a timestamp. All this needs to work "out of the box". So turning the pineapple on should have everything up and running. Everything should go to the USB stick, For legal purposes, i dont want anything like KARMA to actualy establish a session with a device thats probing. What i did so far: -Use my second radio to dump everything unencrypted thats in the air to a pcap file on the USB stick: Works: but have to sort out the entirte pcap file to get the broadcasts and there's no timestamp Now Karma is lining all the probes up nicely so: What i'd like to do is: Change the KARMA log to have a TImestamp and copy this log (Cronjob) say every 5 minuts to my USB drive. PRoblem: I need to BLACKLIST either every / wildcard or somehow stop this from happening. I really really need in this case karma to stop actualy stop responding to the probes... btw tried tailing the log file to the USB stick.. But that wasn't a fool proof option. ANy suggestions on how to accomplish this in a matter that someone could turn the pineapple on and everything would be running smoothly? My setup is a MKIV, + Alfa USB radio and USB stick. running 2.8.1
