  1. Yes, and I've tried manual flashing a thousand times and to the letter. People in the IRC debugged with me, and I could basically get a shell for about 10 seconds before this happens: [ 31.420000] ath: phy0: Unable to reset channel, reset status -5 Where it would keep echoing this line with the time and keep going for a while before resetting itself or until I cycled the power. After a spark of genius, I placed the upgrade files onto a USB and executed the following command before the system died: cp /usb/upgrade.bin /tmp/upgrade.bin && sysupgrade -n -v /tmp/upgrade.bin http://pastebin.com/LFetmtdu This pastebin contains everything afterwards. I actually got the BusyBox v1.19.4 (2013-11-02 04:00:17 CET) built-in shell (ash) Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands. _______ ________ __ \ | |.-----.-----.-----.| | | |.----.| |_ \ \ | - || _ | -__| || | | || _|| _| \ \ \ |_______|| __|_____|__|__||________||__| |____| <, .v , // ) ) ) ) ) |__| W I R E L E S S F R E E D O M \\; \// // / / / ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT (MK5 Ver. Help! :(
  2. After connecting to serial and doing some debugging, it appears the ROM is corrupted. How can I reflash the ROM over serial? I know this is possible for the MK IV, but the procedure would be different on the MK V. Any help would be appreciated.
  3. Hello! So, today I recieved my Wifi Pineapple MK V. However... I've run into a rather large problem that I cannot fix. Like the quickstart sheet told me to, I inserted the SD card, plugged in power, and left it for 5 minutes (It was actually a lot longer than 5 minutes as I had a quick shower and made myself some food). I came back, expecting it to be fine, and to my dismay, it simply was not working. I could not connect to it, even after configuring my network adapter manually. The lights were flashing in this following way: GREEN ON when powered (stayed on) ALL LIGHTS ON for a second ALL LIGHTS OFF EXCEPT RED ---------------------------------------- RED ON BLUE ON BLUE OFF DELAY RED OFF DELAY ---------------------------------------- I've read about the light codes, and yes, I know what they mean. SOLID RED = Checksum mismatch SOLID BLUE = Flashing SOLID GREEN = Powered - I have not seen the amber light at all, except during the reflashing process - And it would just keep repeating the part inside the "----"'s over and over. So I thought, damn, looks like the firmware files are corrupted. Hmm, time to re-format and grab them from the website. And I did that. I also re-flashed the Wifi Pineapple with the stager as a precaution. I inserted the SD card, crossed my fingers, and waited. It was exactly the same as before. So, I thought: damn, must be a bad SD card. Used an 8GB one as well, and re-flashed the pineapple. Same. Maybe the power supply was dead-on-arrival? Nope, same with another with the exact same spec. I'm lost, and I need some help. Thanks!
