  1. Depends on what you need a stronger antenna for, If you want better karma action connect to wlan0, for stronger deauth/jammer/wps use wlan1.
  2. The antennas seem to have SMA connectors, with the exception of 9dBi Dipole if it is not used with the magnetic base, if used without the base you will need the RP-SMA to SMA adapter sold at the hakshop. AR9331 wlan0 is on the side the led's and where the sd card is inserted, RTL8187 wlan1 on the other side. https://hakshop.myshopify.com/products/wifi-pineapple Also on page 6 of the manual.
  3. Uh oh........radi just got put on THE LIST.... Expect your delivery to be a few days late....
  4. Cooper, then that is you filling my spam box!!!!!! Stop it now...!!!! Lol......just kidding...... That was a fun read........ A few bucks here a few bucks there.........every little bit helps now days.... Just remember what the doe said when she came out of the woods....... "that's the last time I'll agree to do that for a couple of bucks"
  5. Thanks Cooper and Sildaekar, I intend to eventually get 2 hackrf's, it's just a large chunk of change (ie cash) at one purchase. One more question, I am a bit concerned about the output, very low..... I intend to get my amateur license and I will probably learn this as I go. Since it is built the way it is........can the output be amped up for most frequencies with just one amplifier?, or is amplifying the signal based on frequency? http://www.ebay.com/gds/A-Buying-Guide-for-Amateur-Radio-Amplifiers-/10000000177317515/g.html http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Ham-Radio-Amplifiers-/163853/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=ham+radio+amplifier So a hamitup x2 and a linear or amplifier and hackrf x2.......would be ok to get me close to having a fairly decent ham set up? I understand it would be better to get a used ham mobile unit if I intend to go ham, I'm just thinking out loud and trying to cover all the bases of what the hackrf can be used as. I guess I should have called this thread......"Hackrf Questions" Maybe a mod can change it, I'm not sure if I can.
  6. I see the upcoming Hackrf is half duplex, it can either send or receive, but not both at the same time. I am completely new to this, so this could be considered a dumb question. To get full duplex, can the $20 dongle take care of the receive part, with hackrf taking care of the send? Or........would one need 2 Hackrf units?
  7. You may want to read this thread; https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/32013-pineapple-ap-is-incredibly-slowinconsistent/ If you are using wlan1 to connect to an AP using client mode.......this is probably what is happening.
  8. So Random Rolll and occupineapple are not "play" infusions for what you would call a "toy"? What's the "legit" pentesting uses for those? I believe the infusions you mentioned, are in preparation for the release of the hackrf, which would fall into the category of "legitimate pentesting". Here's an idea, don't install those infusions, then you would have your "pentesting tool" and not a so called "toy" Are you saying, "we shouldn't have fun, this is serious pentesting"?
  9. When I got my mark v's the hakshop was selling USB to Ethernet adapters. I bought one, it's works good.......I don't see those in the store anymore. Any chance you guys are going to get anymore of those?
  10. Maybe this fork: https://github.com/Sitwon/dedected
  11. Lol......... I hear that, mine too......been together a year and a half or so.I have to make sure I don't spend as much time at the monitor than I was use to being single, makes learning and work take more than twice as long now. So much to learn, so little time. I don't mind, she is worth it.
  12. It looks like you need to put a complete address in.....ie: country, code, address="","","" United States, US, address..... I'm not sure how wigle works, but maybe that's what it wants.
  13. I wonder if 'ga' stands for global address? That would make sense. I'll look at your fork, I was just looking there because a search sent me there. Argggg........I have lots of work to get done this weekend........keep blowing it off and checking this thread lol.
  14. Ok, do you have any idea what 'ga' would be? Or to be more clear what would 'ga' stand for. else: for l in locations: country, code, address="","","" if( 'country' in l['ga'] ): country=l['ga']['country']
  15. I'm not sure if this helps: https://github.com/sensepost/Snoopy/blob/master/snoopy/server/bin/ssid_to_loc.py "if locations == None: logging.info("Wigle account has been shunned, backing off for 20 minutes") time.sleep(60*20)" And here: https://github.com/sensepost/Snoopy/blob/master/snoopy/server/bin/wigle_api_lite.py Again I have no idea if that helps or not.
  16. Good to know, thanks. I'll continue to use it until its added in the firmware.
  17. Thanks for the reply Sebkinne. Could you clarify, is it the default macchanger that does this? Or is it jjd's macchanger script that's does it? Is it ok to still be using his script for now?
  18. Ok, again I apologize for the delay overwraith. Mine does the same thing, wlan0 will not start back up. I don't think there is anything wrong with your pineapple. You might want to submit it to the bug tracker. I could be wrong, but that could be one of the reasons jjd wrote the script, other than being able to have a different random mac at every boot. I'll play with it a bit more this evening, and maybe someone else can try to see if it works for them.
  19. Oops sorry overwraith, I'll check one of mine after I get some coffee in me. I'm sure you have already tried but.......... Just to make sure, Have you replaced the sd card with a class 10 sd? Have you tried to reflash the pineapple to factory settings?
  20. If you try jjd's macchanger script, you shouldn't have any problems.......Sebkinne even said eventually he will integrate the script into the pineapple. I'm not sure if he has done that yet.
  21. I agree with that, not in the top ten......but if other people search the app store like I do, now I can't speak for anyone else........but sometimes I get bored and type in stuff like "wifi" and "hack" in search in the app store. Also I would say sites like iphonehacks might run an article on the app and the pineapple, if you talked to Cody and asked him. He is a nice guy, and always needs more articles. * I'm not really trying to argue, just thinking out loud.
  22. Like this: https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Special:Ask?title=Special%3AAsk&q=%5B%5BCategory%3AWireless+embedded+system%5D%5D+%5B%5BDefault+SSID%3A%3A~*%5D%5D&po=%3FDefault+SSID%0D%0A%3FDefault+SSID+regex%0D%0A%3FOUI&sort%5B0%5D=&order%5B0%5D=ASC&sort_num=&order_num=ASC&eq=yes&p%5Bformat%5D=broadtable&p%5Blimit%5D=500&p%5Boffset%5D=0&p%5Bheaders%5D=show&p%5Bmainlabel%5D=&p%5Blink%5D=all&p%5Bintro%5D=&p%5Boutro%5D=&p%5Bdefault%5D=&eq=yes
  23. Ok, how about free with ads, for anyone that doesn't want ads......in app purchase to remove ads. With all due respect Foxtrot........I see a win win being in the app store......people see the app.....read about the mark v.... Hakshop sells more pineapples. It basically is free advertisement to people on iOS, for the hakshop.
