  1. Well you should buy a Nano or Tetra even both, hak5 needs to pay the bills, February isn't that far away if you decide not to. Hey, at least send Seb some Red Bull, and a weird sticker to Darren. Seb, Darren, maybe you can make an optional paid for, MarkV firmware to be "Lean and Mean" for use with the OMINOUS BOX, as an accessory unit for the Tetra/Nano, sort of a "Recon/deauth tool"??? No PineAp, nothing extra just recon, tracking and deauth only... I would pay $25 to keep the MarkV working with "Mark VI" series. Just a thought. (FYI..... I bought both new units, a few of the older ones, and I'm not wealthy by any means, far from it) *This opinion has not been paid for or authorized by Hak5 or any of its subsidiaries..
  2. I understand the firmware is new, and I know Darren talked a bit about colabriation with Nethunter. In lieu of Random Roll.....Just for kicks, I connected to the Nano (nexus 6) and attempted to use cspliot and Zanti 2 (MITM features), to just play around with the image files, sort of a random roll with all images. I was barely successful on one try, but the rest of the time, nothing, except for regular surfing or almost complete non responsive Internet to the client (IOS 8.1, and 5.11), and having to restart everything.. I can only guess the apps use ARP to change the images??......I could be completely wrong on that assumption. My question is, is there something in the Nano/Openwrt firmware that prevents this? Any changes that I could make? It seems to work ok on older routers, not for every site but certain sites. I'm not really asking for help with the apps, but since "workflow" is the objective, I thought I might ask.

  8. Very cool digip. Thank you so much for the share. You and your friend are awesome.
  9. Does anyone know what a turtle is? http://www.pentestwithhak5.com/
  10. m40295..and fringes. Thank you both very much for the help.....I apologize for asking in the wrong place...I actually wasn't sure where to ask. Everything works fine until I run wp5.sh that I downloaded from: http://wiki.wifipineapple.com/#!ics.md So I thought this would be the correct place to ask. I tried your suggestions today along with some other settings last night that I was reading from http://www.postgresql.org/docs/9.3/static/auth-pg-hba-conf.html I now see the mistake I was making trying to fix the problem. Yay……its working I do appreciate the help, and Thanks again. Mods feel free to move the thread to the appropriate place.
  11. No cheeto, I dont have a MKIV.
  12. I seem to have this problem no matter what machine I run it on. In Kali after I run the wp5.sh, my ability to use Armitage gets fragged and Armitage can not connect to metasploit. I get this: Could not connect to database. Kali Linux users, try: service postgresql start service metasploit start service metasploit stop FATAL; no pg_hba.conf entry for host "192.168.0.143", user "msf3", database "msf3", SSL off That is from my vm, on my netbook it says 172.16.42.42 Trying to start and stop the metasploit service does not correct the problem, Does doing ICS confuse the loopback from Armitage to msf? Is there a way to maybe change my interfaces file in /etc/network or the network manager config file in /etc/NetworkManager, to fix this? Edit: Maybe I need to edit the pg_hba.conf file to correct
  13. What about the keylogger that was implemented for the mark iv? Could that not be made for the MKV? https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/26025-keylogger/
  14. Thanks sud0nick for all the work you put into this. Looking forward to trying it.
  15. Wifi Cowboy how exactly did you get wlan3 to be an AP?
  16. All I know is, 2.x.x has fixed my 2 neutered MKV's. Thanks Sebkinne your work is very much apreciated. Darren, Sara and Crew, you guys are "rock candy baby" (it's a Montrose/Hagar thing) for great customer service. After a year, I am now really enjoying my 3 MKV's. The first year was up and down, excited for what's next.
  17. I get to try tomorrow, 3 mark v's and 2 batteries. I also need to carry, a netbook, a couple of laptops, iPad and Mac mini. This is going to be fun, I just cannot afford to check any of it in. Things tend to dissapear from checked in baggage, sometimes. It's all going to be carry on, multiple flight connections. I'll check in and let everyone know how it goes. Wish me luck. If anyone has any suggestions to make the trip smooth and uneventful, feel free to post here. Thanks.
  18. Ok, then is it possible with karma-ng, (or the new karma coming) could we at least be able to set wlan2 to be the AP? That seems to be our only option, other than purchasing an amplifier.
  19. wlan0 is what everyone is talking about, the ar9331.........are you able to get it above 18 dBm? wlan1, the RTL8187 by default is at 27 dBm.
  20. The pineapple is Linux, regardless of what OS you have on your computer.
