  1. Yes , I will seconded that, I found that out a couple of wrrks ago, the links are all screwed up
  2. Your answer is correct cooper , you go to settings - manage attachments. I had 487 of 500kb used, explains why my kb was decreasing each time. So next question What other photo hosting sites can we use to host photos...
  3. when ever I get to america , maybe next year with work, I will buy the first round... As for photobucket, I thought It wasn't supported, I have tried before , and it come up as unsupported format. or am I doing something wrong...
  4. I am gaving problems posting pictures on the forum Some times I can post 254kb, other times it is limiting me to 15.4kb What is the correct way to post a decent photo in posts Thanks
  5. I had a look at the video of the interview, while it has raised some good points on the possibilty of security risks, he just beating up the hype, doesn't give any substance to his claims, nor explian any details. So I had a look today, and found this rsa confernce presetation on the risk. It is at http://www.rsaconference.com/writable/presentations/file_upload/ht-r08-how-hackers-are-outsmarting-smart-tvs-and-why-it-matters-to-you_copy1.pdf Also another one http://www.google.com.au/url?q=https://media.blackhat.com/us-13/US-13-Lee-Hacking-Surveilling-and-Deceiving-Victims-on-Smart-TV-Slides.pdf&sa=U&ei=X9ufU--lG43bkAXOtoHYCA&ved=0CBYQFjAE&usg=AFQjCNG9tCcqb15ZaKzp0MA0UjjxakIhOQ And another at http://www.google.com.au/url?q=http://www.codenomicon.com/resources/whitepapers/codenomicon-wp-smart-tv-fuzzing.pdf&sa=U&ei=X9ufU--lG43bkAXOtoHYCA&ved=0CBQQFjAD&usg=AFQjCNFNsI8jxO-0d8HeUCs7E2bUMoexRA What I find alarming is that app that access facebook, amazon, itunes can be accessed with a four digit number from the remote. Now here is my point of view, remotes aren't wifi, they are infra red, so for a drone to access the system, it would need line of sight and infra red transmitter to interact with the tv, and a reciever to capture code transmitted by the remote. You could drop a device that has a line of sight of the tv that interact with the tv by ir tranceiver and control it from a distance by wifi Still, possible , but I think a lot of hype
  6. Bobh You can find it on newbi3 youtube channel, the link is his post signiture. but the link to the video covering this post topic is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gOQoOCinGKQ
  7. Yes I will comfirm the above answer about metasploit being a resource hog. I have installed Kali on one of my old dell laptops ( doesn't have USB 2, have to use a card to get USB 2), that don't meet the basic sys req of Metasploit. everthing else on Kali works fine, but when I tried to boot a Metasploit session, it freezes and crashes the system and I have to reboot the laptop. I wouldn't expect it to function on a pineapple. The only thing you could do is to route the pineapple traffic thru a laptop that is running a metasploit session, then connect that traffic to the internet from the laptop by either anothe wifi adapter or 3g or adsl.
  8. I have tried to connect my tablet by USB tethering to the pineapple and as I suspected, when tethered, the USB option is gone. Can you access the SD card on a 3g USB stick when you are connected ?
  9. Thanks for the link that has answered my question.
  10. I was talking about USB router , but I hadn't even thought about a SD card in a 3G stick. Maybe I can use storage space on the tablet that I current have tethered to the pineapple as it has an SD card. As long as I can create symbolic links for web pages stored on the card. I will test it and post back
  11. Hi all I have a question I am playing with web pages stored on the usb drive, now I am looking too create symbolic links into the www folder for the web server on the pineapple. now I also want to use USB tethering as well. my question is can i use a USB router to share both operations of data though put for internet, and serving up web pages from the stick. And can anyone recommend a USB router that is proven to work with the pinapple.
  12. Hi all I have been experimenting with Dsploit over the last week. now I was goingto download the version from chris at sun studio, but found it was in the google play store, so I downloaded this version. 1st thing I found was that the google version is twice the size, and it is full of ads. I have rooted my samsung galaxy t3 sm-t210 before installed the version from google, but it didn't seem to work in key areas. Now I am suprised that google Play would support this program, as their policy on tools for hacking is very clear, they kicked the router password database off for breaching this policy (still got my copy) so I deleted it, and downloaded the version from sunstudio . it seemed to be half the size, no ads, and the key MITM attacks works. so the questionis, are they from the same source, or has someone spoofed a version to put on google play
  13. Excellent work...this should help greatly avoid the pitfalls of setting up 3g modems Darren, Sebkinne and the rest of the team, thank you for all your efforts....
  14. Thanks for the input, it has given me some experiment ideas to muck around with while I am off. We will see what I can come up with
  15. Yes..that is a real problem, and I don't have a problem with the law throwing the book at people caught accessing private webcam, or the criminals who break into computers for criminal gain.. I am just concerned of being targeted in a broad sweep by the law bodies, just because we muck around with computer and explore what can be done. Let me explain, I have a harley, but due to the crackdown on outlaw clubs down here, every time I take it out, I get pulled over, and interigated on the side of the road...everytime.. As a result, I haven't ridden it in 8 months, the fact thay I don't have any tattoos and clearly have no connection to any outlaw club.. The law, governmet, and press are all on a bikie witch hunt so if you have a harley, your automaticly a criminal. The fact that the AFP are now looking at computer crime again, means everyone is a target. They are still crowing about their success in exposing a $7million dollar inside trading scam the busted last week , and how they will prosicute to the full anyone caught in the act of inside trading, computer crime , and creidt card fraud. So I am concern that law abiding hackers will get washed up in any crack down.
  16. Well its became news down here today with the AFP now looking for Austrlain links, its been in the news feed all day.
  17. Other news article has listed that they had arrested the developers and are tracking down all who have used it to infect systems I have not seen or used this tool, but what is next, kali, metasploit, pineapples, rubber ducks... We need to keep in mind that the law is always watching, and we all should be ethical and stay within the law with what we do.
  18. Just read this article on how the FBI and the AFP are tracking down usre of the blackshades tool It is at http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-05-20/afp-to-help-fbi-in-malware-crackdown/5464988 Just a reminder that you shouldn't break the law and only use security tools on systems that you are authorised to test. Keep it legal.....
  19. What I want to do is let the pineapple redirect any web request that match stored web pages on the pineapple, to capture login details, but after the first time and the details are connected, any further attempts will pass to the correct website, either by the second radio connected to an AP, or a 3g usb modem, so they have normal uninteruped internet service. I figure a little bit of logic in a script to say if the connected client has been redirected once, then ignore any futher rediretion and connect to the correct web pages on the internet. I am planning to attempt this in my time off Just wanted to know if anyone else has tried to do this
  20. Hi all I had posted this in infusions, but it has been suggested to move here instead. I have three weeks off work coming up as the plant is shutting down for the end of finacial year due to low orders...so I been told to take time off... So what I am planning to do is to experiment with the pinapple redirect.php I want to redirect to the web sites on the pinapple, but after the first redirect, allow the connect client to go to the original website from then on. My question...has anyone else tried to do this...or any other ideas on the pro or cons of this Has this be tried before..
  21. Ok.. I post this in mod and coding
  22. Hi all A quick question...has anyone tried to setup the redirect so it goes to the stored web site on the pinapple, but then goes to the correct destination after the first try..
  23. If you are concerned about any potential spyware dailing home, setup a passive tap and wireshark and montor the traffic between your pineapple and your internet connection, and watch what ip are going out. This would be good to do on other things and software. About two years ago I had to install a btr board (behind tape reader) on an old prodution machine on the floor (1970's technolgy), this is used to create a serial port on machines that had paper tape reader only, yes I know, holding together a communication system with bandaids and bubblegum.... Anyway, the software that drivers it, had to be purchased, which we did, but as it was locked to tbe pc, what would happen when the pc failed (which it did two weeks ago). If we couldn't get a new license, we would be crippled. My solution, I fired up Idapro and looked at the license system in the assembly code. What I found, that while it wasn't to hard to bypass, it had a failsafe that dailed home if it detected that the licensing system was bypassed the point I am trying to make is I be more concerned about other software, as it is easier to install spyware than intercpting hardware
  24. Hi all Can anyone point me to any online resource for web logins that use secure tokens...
