Mk V SSLStrip page browser cannot connect at first attempt

I have SSLStrip working perfectly on my MkV except that on first connection my browser displays a page cannot connect screen. This happens on both tablet and laptop, but once the page is refreshed I have no difficulties in connecting to both http and https sites. Is anybody else experiencing similiar issues - I do not have this problem with my Mk IV?
