  1. Did you set the static ip of your ethernet adapter to 172.16.42.42. AND windows internet connection sharing is all set up (I don't have windows, can't help there)? I think all the instructions you need are on this page. (The page is for mk3 or 4, but the "ICS" notes for windows should be just about the same).
  2. I think the answer here is to learn a little bit about video editing and compression. There's likely a different video format that will be a little more bandwidth friendly. There are definitely ways you could set up a computer to share that video online... but if the videos are huge and uncompressed, nobody in their right mind is going to stream them anyways. When it comes to hosting video, you're going to have a hard time matching the performance and bandwidth capabilities of any of the big providers (youtube, vimeo, etc).
  3. I had similar issues with my SD card. Formatting would fix it temporarily, but usually by the next day (hard to say how long) something would be funky again. I ended up swapping out the stock 2gb for a spare 4gb that I had laying around, and as far as I can tell it's been smoother sailing since. Note also (and maybe everyone knows this) - if you notice some infusions not running that you thought were installed - and you load up the list of Infusions and some of them don't display their size or version number correctly, - CHECK the "Available Infusions" tab for any infusion updates. The Pineapple Bar Tile only shows system updates (AFAIK). If there's an infusion update ready the "install" link will change to something like "update".
  4. Building on this idea, it would be great if you could check / uncheck the tiles you want to use. And the ability to sort the tiles ourselves would be awesome.
  5. It's actually super simple. Click on the title of the small tile to view the Large Tile for occupineapple. Then in there you should have a link to install mdk3, either to internal storage or USB. (I've noticed there's no option for the SD card just yet, so I've used internal storage...) Once that's done, the tile should refresh with all the occupineapple goodness.
  6. The pineapple doesn't just allow you to jump on to any network without knowing the passphrase. Depending on the network encryption, there could be a few things you could try to gain entry... The main thing the pineapple does is reply "yes" to UNPROTECTED SSID probes: So if a device has connected to an unprotected "Free Hotel Wifi" in the past, then the pineapple will respond and allow that device to connect to it as if it was the "Free Hotel Wifi" (even though it isn't). The point here - Karma is responding to SSID "probes", not picking up the actual SSID's of AP's in the area. As BOOB00 mentioned, if you'd like to see all the AP's broadcasting nearby, check out the Site Survey infusion.
  7. Not during daylight savings! PDT wouild be daylight I guess (and the current GMT -7). PST would be the standard time zone (-8). ~~ Oh well, if that is the case, (3pm pacific) then I definitely won't be able to make it. Maybe there'll be a recording after the fact?
  8. Actually, it should be 4pm Pacific time if it's the time that Seb mentioned in the other post. Pacific time is in daylight savings right now, so it's only GMT-7.
  9. This is 4pm Pacific (San Fran) time, yes? I might be able to catch it! Quick meeting at 3pm to get through. Hopefully see you there.
