  1. Yes, GF sent me an email (to my Gmail) from her work Outlook, containing a date/ time for her work meeting. Lo & behold, it automatically showed up on my TF101 calendar!..F*ck me! Only a matter of time before they can detect prostate cancer via the Android....
  2. Had the same problems, but contrary to the instructions, I plugged in the V+ wire (homebrew well designed/isolated serial interface..it references the client/host voltage...which I could post here, if that's allowed). It worked like a dream after that. Not saying to do that ( you might want to check your interface output VS board pin voltage)..not responsible for my idiot comments/frying your board {use a zener?}.. ;-)
  3. Car FOBs/jammers are on several different frequencies, 315 Mhz, 433 Mhz..and maybe more. DX used to sell them (called "modules" now..without the case, board only). The old HP sig gen tuned to 315Mhz, 1khz modulation & roof ant pretty much shuts down the GF from using her FOB ( and the garage door opener)..A temporary thing. I get in shit for it every time! ;P {edit} Some might use a VCO (cheaper by the dozen) on eBay, tune it to the center frequency {it drifts}, one might add an oscillator input and a chip RF amp. This is all very illegal, and anyone wth a directional antenna and spectrum analyzer might find you. Shh!

  5. Hi all, n00b here. Made a few yagi antennas (which I'm very happy with ~15 element) ..but saw a few construction articles on helicals. Any pro's , con's? TIA! :-) TB
  6. Hi all! Ordered an AP121U (Amazon .CA ~$55)..bad man, I know! :-( Planning on flashing (clean flash) but instructions state to use USB to serial adapter. Have a bag of of PC serial port to 3.3V level converters here ..(well designed). One would assume these 'ought to work? (rather than the USB to serial adapters) {Yes, I DO have a PC with a real serial port} TIA! :-)
