I can give (my personal) recommendation on using SMF. It was very easy to switch from phpBB to SMF. Also I think it's a lot easier/better to moderate/manage than phpBB. And the best part is... I haven't had a single spam register/post after the switch (about 4 months :)).......*knocking wood*

Looks pretty good. Borders and the orange box needs some work in my opinion. I think that the color scheme is pretty well balanced.

Yeah, that's usually the case. 90% of time, I find the graphics I need from deviantART. http://www.deviantart.com/ There's also very good selection of wallpapers...even for widescreen/multi monitors...

Yeah, I guess it's OK. And eventually, only few people will even see those screencasts so it really doesn't matter . Back on dreaming about license free world....

OK, it seems that different albums/artists have different licenses. Many have a No Derivative Works condition in them, so I guess those tracks can't be used :(. But there seems to be a good number of "Share alike" tracks also. I guess those can be used :?.

Thanks for the tip, some cool music there :) If anyone knows a simple answer to a simple question, can I use music from that site in my own stuff...for example as a background music in a screencast?
