From my readings of VPN, PPTP is the last protocol to use. Like WEP is for WiFi.

UDOO: Android Linux Arduino in a tiny single-board computer
buggz replied to buggz's topic in Hacks & Mods
So, it's all working good. Next is to get a SATA solution going... Speaking of choices, now there is this: Ultimate Pentesting PwnBox (2013) – Utilite Pro http://www.kali.org/penetration-testing/ultimate-pentesting-pwnbox-2013-utilite/ I think there will be an expolsion next year of even more devices? -
http://www.kali.org/penetration-testing/ultimate-pentesting-pwnbox-2013-utilite/ There are just too many gadgets to keep up with! I already have an Udoo quad, a MK IV Pineapple, and a MKV Pineapple.

I am going to try Kali, it seems there are efforts already underway for this. One person already has a Kali image running. http://www.udoo.org/ -

Hello, I did get an email from them last week, I am in the queue. I was not lucky enough to get in on the Kickstart part, all of the kickstarts have shipped. Now, the regular orders are being shipped. I am actually looking forward to this item, as I have held off on buying a Raspberry Pi for so long now... -

I already have a Mark IV...

No one? No thoughts? Shrug, call me stupid, I just ordered one... -
Any thoughts on this device? Looks much more powerful than a Raspberry Pi, and, has an Arduino board. <<http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/435742530/udoo-android-linux-arduino-in-a-tiny-single-board>>

Personally, being the new owner of a Pineapple 3.0 MkIV kit, I would welcome all tools available. If a Kali image can be created for the Raspberry PI, I would assume it can be also generated for our Pineapples. Is there a Pineapple SDK available? Not that I could really use it, but I would love to try! Kali on a Pineapple would be awesome!

My brief play: - there isn't an aireplay-ng on my Pineapple, nor is there one at http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/packages - there isn't a wash on my Pineapple, nor is there one at http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/packages Itried reaver manually, I had errors, I will have to post my error message saves in a later post, they are on another machine.
-
I would like to test this as well. Thanks!
-
http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/packages also shows this: libpcap_1.3.0-1_ar71xx.ipk 26-Aug-2013 01:25 85341

Ahh, I only perused the code, really didn't look hard at it. I will look at it again tonight, thanks! Okay, I see the part w/ the version check, no big deal, just a warning. reaver.sh:3:#reaver.sh version 1.1 reaver.sh:1069:elif [[ `cat /pineapple/includes/fwversion` != "2.8.1" ]]; then reaver.sh:1070: FWver=`cat /pineapple/includes/fwversion` reaver.sh:1071: echo "Warning! This script has been tested on FW version 2.8.1" reaver.sh:1072: echo "Your current version is $FWver" I am going to test it tonight. Thanks!

Actually, for my S4, I didn't have to change the ROM. Just root, and then install a custom recovery, and then install mods. No, I haven't tried to tether directly to the Pineapple, either via USB, nor WiFi. However, I have used it on my laptop via USB tether and the Pineapple on the ethernet port. Worked great.

Hello, I am curious about the 3.0 change requirements? For a shell script? Are there any needed? Or are you commenting on the GUI parts? I'm a new owner of a MkIV 3.0 Pineapple, and still testing things out.
-
A filebrowser like mc? mc is a nice tool, and does a LOT more than simple browsing.
-
I have experienced this, from a new 3.0 MkIV. The correction is to load the new Pineapple Bar update. It is shown on top of the availble Infusions to d/l.

Hello, Playing w/ my new MkIV 3.0 this weekend. inSSIDer 3.0 shows it transmitting on two radios, using the same MAC ? One on an SSID I assign, either in karma, or w/ the WiFi Manager infusion. The other is a blank SSID. inSSIDer 2.0 never shows two, only one. Sometimes, when I reboot, WiFi Manager will actually show two interfaces. Physical Interface radio0 [wlan0] - HWAddr MACaddyhere Physical Interface radio1 [wlan1] - HWAddr sameMACas-above. I'm currently only using the built in radio. It gets all wonky and I have to reset and start over. I'll have to capture this wierdness via an ssh shell connection...

I will try it tonight. I guess the ONLY backup for this device needed, is the ext. usb storage device?
-
Wow! http://cloud.wifipineapple.com/packages%C2'> Do ALL these packages work on the MkIV? I suspect not, but definitely have to ask before I screw up and have to start over, yet again.

Hello, I just got my Mk IV. Does this script work with 3.0 firmware?
