mr. protocol i just tried using a differnt ethernet cable andit seems to have solved the problem. are the retractable ones known for being bad or did i just get a bad one?

yes i have. i was on the web interface earlier but when i go to connect now the above happens

hi guys im sorry to be such a bother posting two nights in a row but iv run into another probelm, i cannot connect to LAN on my mark IV. i think the easiest way to describe the issue is to just walk through what happens in order 1) plug ethernet cable into laptop and pineapple on the poe/lan port 2) plug in pineapple juice battery pack 3) turn on battery pack and pineapple 4) lights will come on under the PWR and LAN labels 5) LAN will turn off and WPS button will start flashing 6)after the WPS button flashes for about 30 seconds it stops and the WLAN light will come on 7) at this point the Wlan and PWR are both lit up. i cannot connect at all to the web interface at this point, after double checking all of my internet connections and networks i have come to the conclusion that it is not at the fault of the internet connection. will it help if i just hit the reset button on the back of the pineapple? any comments are appreciated and any solutions even more so thanks guys

thank you so much, this fixed the issue ^-^ i had been running ALOT of addons from earlier this year i had forgotten about and after shutting them all off the web interface is perfect thanks again cheers

hi guys , on aug 9th i recieved my first pineapple mark IV device in the mail. First of all i have to say it is much lighter sleeker and all around cooler than i expected :P if you have not purchased one for your self yet i highly recomend it. After setting up my internet connections to the pineapple everything was smooth sailing until i tried logging into the web interface at 172.16.42.1:1471/pineapple and i was able to log in succesfully, that is until the actual interface came up on my monitor. what i see is a stack of green rectangles straight up the middle of my screen. whenever try to click any of the links i can actually see it opens a terminal only half way on my screen showing the right side. if anyone needs to see a screenshot to understand what i am talking about please feel free to ask for my email address and i will send it straight to you. im using the pineapple mark IV on what i believe to be the 3.0 firmware my computer is an hp mini laptop running windows7 proffesional my internet browser is firefox if anyone is experiancing similiar problems or ( crossing my fingers) has a solution please please please reply in this forum. this is my first Hak5 product and i am very excited to be able to start using it. thank you everyone who even bothers to read this, and big thanks to anyone who finds a solution. *edit* i attatched a picture of my screen whenever im logged into the web interface thanks everyone
