  1. I have tried forwarding port 9092 to IP 174.16.42.231 with iptables -t nat -I PREROUTING --src 0/0 --dst 174.16.42.231 -p tcp --dport 9092 -j REDIRECT --to-ports 9092 but it still does not forward it. Am I missing something?
  2. I am trying to forward a few ports through my wifi pineapple to one of the devices connected to it. The pineapple is connected to the internet on eth1 with ip 10.0.1.155, and sharing internet access through the built in wifi. The device I am trying to open the ports to is connected to the pineapples wifi with ip 172.16.42.231 on br-lan. could someone help me this the commands I need to open some ports to this device?
  3. I tried replacing mine with a used one, but it did not fix it. I just ordered 4 more, guess I'll wait for those and see if a new one will fix it.
  4. The nut on the RP-SMA connector has never been loose, but I tried replacing the IPEX to RP-SMA cable anyways, but it did not help. I will ssh into it later to find out what the tx power is set to.
  5. I purchased a pineapple from the hakshop last week, and it appears to be defective. The wifi signal is so weak that I can only connect to it if I am within 10 feet of it. If I scan for AP's in network manager, I can only see an AP is the pineapple is right beside it. I have tried refashing the firmware, replaced the antenna, and the antenna lead, but nothing has helped. I have tried contacting hakshop through email and their website form about exchanging it, but have not received a response. Is there a better way of getting ahold of somebody to get this thing exchanged?
  6. Thats what I did. I unplugged it from the circuit board, and plugged in an antenna from an old laptop(U.FL antenna). The signal did not get any better.
  7. Could not see anything wrong with the antenna(this is a brand new unit). I plugged an antenna from an old laptop I had laying around into the pineapple antenna lead port-but it did not help any. I can only connect to it if I am within 10 feet.
  8. I found the problem. My external wireless card has a poor connection at the usb jack. If I hold it the right way it will connect. My next problem is with the built in wifi. The signal is very weak. I can only connect to it if i'm in the same room as it. Same goes for scanning for AP's. I can only see them if I am right beside them. I tried a different antenna, but it did not help.
  9. Still does not detect it with only the external antenna plug in. This antenna works perfect in backtrack.
  10. I just received my pineapple and started playing with it. One thing I cannot get working is my external antenna. I've updated the pineapple to the latest firmware, it's powered from the wall adapter, and i'm powering the antenna from a second power source with the usb hub from HakShop. One the usb page is shows the flash drive I have connected, but not the external antenna. If I plug it in before boot, the flash drive does not work either. What could be the problem?
