  1. Whoa, turns out insomnia can make you do crazy things. I got my posts confused. I may be losing my mind a little... Sorry for the inconvenience.
  2. Are you just trying to download infusions and such? If so instead of sharing internet through your computer just plug the pineapple into the router and connect to your pineapple via wifi. Also if you are stressed out from working with your Mac I recommend taking a min to watch this classic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOEKBC1JPz4
  3. Are you talking checking an email from a website like gmail or hotmail? Because you could just dns spoof it to your own html page.
  4. I've used the AWUS036H and it does work. Try letting the pineapple boot then plugging it directly in without the hub. Also you shouldn't need to power the hak5 hub if you are running off the wall power.
  5. Are people able to run sslstrip from ssh?
  6. Obviously when you start rocking those voltages your wifi's txpower is forced to raise naturally.
  7. Anker Pro 10000mAh You can pick one up at amazon for $49.99. I recommend this battery it has worked extremely well for me. But if you wanna go hard core and your really serious about your hacking I recommend the new Anker Astro room extreme 6.2mil mAh. Not only will this baby be able to power your pineapple for a whopping 48hours strait, but it also boosts your wifi single strength by at least 10%. 2nd only to its father battery hidden inside the LHC but I shouldn't even be talking about that.
  8. You just select available access point select your SSID and put in the password. Then click DHCP request at the top. Are you doing that and its still not working? If so what is happening?
  9. My questions is still why do you want to bring wlan0 down and up in the first place?
  10. I've had trouble with the network manager myself. The best way I've found to connect lets say an Alfa usb card to an encrypted network is to boot up the pineapple after its booted plug in the alfa card. (I wait tell the pineapple boots before I plug it in so I know the Alfa will be on wlan1 not wlan0) I run airmon-ng start wlan1 to bring up monitor mode (because 90% of the time I still wanna scan the area to see whats going on) I would run airodump mon0 just to wake up the card. I find if I just try to connect to my WPA2 network it doesn't always work unless I run airodump first. Now to connect to a WPA2 network you wanna edit your WPA_supplicant.conf its located inside /etc/ with something simple like network={ ssid=" yourssid " psk= yourpassword } Once your WPA_supplicant is set up you can run wpa_supplicant. I use this little script. (I mostly stole from the forms) That will run wpa_supplicant set ipforwarding clear your iptables and set them then run udhcpc to get a dhcp request. #!/bin/sh wpa_supplicant -B -D nl80211 -i wlan1 -c /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward iptables -F iptables -X iptables -A FORWARD -o wlan1 -i br-lan -s 172.16.0.0/24 -m conntrack --ctstate NEW -jACCEPT iptables -A FORWARD -m conntrack --ctstate ESTABLISHED,RELATED -j ACCEPT iptables -A POSTROUTING -t nat -j MASQUERADE sleep 6 udhcpc -i wlan1 Assuming you're using the nl80211 driver that should work if not you can just look at wpa_supplicant --help to see other driver options.
  11. In the picture you showing ICS internet connection sharing. That's for if you want to share internet from one interface to another for example if you plug the pineapple into lan and you want to share it on wlan1. Also what USB wireless adapter do you have because all I see is wlan0 thats for the pineapples wifi if you had a wireless adapter it would most likely be on wlan1.
  12. That's because you are bringing down the wifi down on the pineapple... unless your plugged directly in how would it know you ran the command ifconfig wlan0 up? Also why are you bringing it down and back up anyhow?
  13. When I run which python nothing happens. If I try opkg install python it tells me Package python (2.7.3-2) installed in usb is up to date, and I can see it in my /usb/usr/bin
  14. After I install sslstrip v2.9 on the 2.8.1 firmware I get this error env: can't execute 'python': No such file or directory I have python 2.7 installed is it a permission thing or so I need to set some sort of symbolic link???
  15. The awus036nhr will not just plug and play you have to install the Realtek RTL8188RU drivers. If it is possible to run the awus036nhr with the pineapple this guide may help. As for "putting the tampered internet threw the ALFA" I'm not sure if you mean you want people to connect to the pineapple through the ALFA card or you want the ALFA card to connect to the internet and share it with the pineapple. Ether way the easiest way to do that is the network manager infusion.
  16. Thank you for your responses, I'm testing out the hak5usb hub now. If the Sandisk Cruzers have problems what would be the best flash drive to get?
  17. Could someone please explain the proper way to get the Wifi pineapple to work with a Alfa wifi card and a usb flash drive? Should I just get a powerd hub and run another line to the usb of the Anker, or do I need to cut up the hak5 usb hub?
  18. So your saying even tho I have the hak5 USB hub I still need to modify it to make it work with the wifi pineapple?
  19. I'm running off the Anker Astro Pro 12v using the Hak5 USB powered hub or This usb hub, But I can't get the ALFA AWUS036NHA and a 8 gig sandisk cruizer fit to run longer than 2 minutes together. I know the 8 gig sandisk uses too much power for the pineapple juice batter pack, but I thought that was because its only 5v. Please tell me how I can get a Alfa card and a usb flash drive to work simultaneously. Do I need a flash drive that draws less power or a different usb hub?
