  1. Where can I buy a 12V battery that is compatible with the pineapple?
  2. Already tried that without luck. I can send network packages to the pineapple, but the pineapple does not send any packages back to the computer.
  3. Which part of the pineapple does not send a single packet don't you understand?
  4. For some reason, I can't connect to the pineapple use PoE/LAN.... When I check the details of the connection (through Windows network center), it shows thousands of send packages, but absolutely 0 received packages! It does nothing, so no IP assigments, no data about the standard gateway, nothing... Is it possible to flash the pineapple without the tftp? ar7240> setenv bootargs "board=ALFA console=ttyATH0,115200 rootfstype=squashfs,jffs2 noinitrd" ar7240> saveenv Saving Environment to Flash... 5. Have you tried to make the Alfa usb adapter broadcast any signal yourself? I tried it both on the computer and a 5V - 2.1A battery
  6. What does that mean? I plugged the USB on my desktop PC. Are you sure this isn't a bug? Can you make the Alfa wifi usb broadcast an Access Point signal? Please give it a try!
  7. root@Pineapple:~# udhcpc -i wlan1 udhcpc (v1.19.4) started Sending discover... Sending discover... Sending discover... Read error: Network is down, reopening socket udhcpc: bind: No such device PS: the wlan1 is on the Atheros AR9271 chipset.
  8. After a reflash, wlan0 broadcasts an Access Point signal again. I can neither make the Alfa Wifi Usb Adapter an Access Point nor a client. on the pineapple. It does recognize the Alfa as wlan1 however... But I can neither make it an Access Point nor a client. The Alfa usb adapter isn't broken. I know, because I tested the Alfa usb wifi on my desktop computer and that worked.
  9. [DHCP Request] only works on wlan0 (the pineapple itself) for me. When I try '[DHCP Request]' on the usb adapter (wlan1) it does not work... Karma does not start either... When I click start nothing happens.... 'MK4 Karma Disabled. | Start'
  10. But how do I make the wifi usb adapter show up as Access Point when searching for wifi hotspots with an external device? What does this mean? root@Pineapple:~# wifi command failed: Device or resource busy (-16) Successfully initialized wpa_supplicant Command failed: Operation not supported
  11. I can now connect the pineapple core (Atheros 11n) itself to my real wifi router. But I can't make people connect to the Pineapple access point, because it does not broadcast anything (no SSID, no signal at all)... "the card is behaving live an access point to which users can connect" <-- It does not broadcast anything at all... I already flashed it to 3.0
  12. How to fix this? config wifi-device 'radio1' option type 'mac80211' option channel '11' option hwmode '11ng' option macaddr '00:c0:ca:71:da:9d' option htmode 'HT20' list ht_capab 'SHORT-GI-20' list ht_capab 'SHORT-GI-40' list ht_capab 'RX-STBC1' list ht_capab 'DSSS_CCK-40' option disabled '0' config wifi-iface option device 'radio1' option network 'lan' option mode 'ap' option hidden '0' option ssid 'mywifihotspot'
  13. It simply does not broadcast any of the two.... I want the wifi usb card to be the client, so people can connect to the pineapple. Editting does not help...
  14. ALFA USB WiFi adapter not working as access point. Tried to turn it into an access point using the network manager infusion... Did not work! How do i fix this? How can i be sure the wifi adapter is not broken? The blue light is still working and wlan1 does show up in the network manager.
  15. I can't make the wifi usbcard turn into an access point.... config wifi-device radio0 option type mac80211 option channel 11 option hwmode 11ng option macaddr 00:c0:ca:68:d0:06 option htmode HT20 list ht_capab SHORT-GI-20 list ht_capab SHORT-GI-40 list ht_capab RX-STBC1 list ht_capab DSSS_CCK-40 # REMOVE THIS LINE TO ENABLE WIFI: # option disabled 1 config wifi-iface option device radio0 option network lan option mode ap option ssid "pineapple da:9d" option encryption none config wifi-device radio1 option type mac80211 option channel 11 option hwmode 11ng option macaddr 00:c0:ca:71:da:9d option htmode HT20 list ht_capab SHORT-GI-20 list ht_capab SHORT-GI-40 list ht_capab RX-STBC1 list ht_capab DSSS_CCK-40 # REMOVE THIS LINE TO ENABLE WIFI: # option disabled 1 config wifi-iface option device radio1 option network lan option mode ap option ssid "pineapple da:9d" option encryption none
  16. How do I get the wifi adapter and an usbstick on the device?
  17. Tried to install the program on the device (not usb), but It didn't install it...
  18. After using that script, neither the pineapple nor the external wifi usb adapter can be used as the 'fake' access point.
  19. Pineapple not showing up as access point, even I if I set it as Accesspoint in the wifi manager. How to fix this?
  20. I tried to install it through the pineapplebar. DId not work.
  21. Still get the 'sslstrip not installed' error
  22. After using your script, the pineapple suddendly stopped broadcasting the SSID, while I DO have set 'Broadcast SSID' to 'Enable' How to fix this????
